Summer Day Spotting High Speed Trains At Boxley, HS1 - 05/08/24

4K UHD!
A second visit to Boxley on High Speed One spent from afternoon to early evening. With a couple of hours spent on both Eastern and Western portals of Boxley Tunnel with a quick visit to Boarley Lane and Stratford International also included. Plenty of the usual Eurostar services to/from London St Pancras International, Paris Nord, Bruxelles Midi and Amsterdam Centraal feature as well as many Southeastern High Speed services to/from various destinations in Kent. I was also able to capture both of the new liveried Golden e320s to celebrate the Olympics in Paris.
Special thanks to the Southeastern driver who gave me a horn.

Great shots! How did you get to this spot? Is it quite easily accessible?

Thanks. Both spots are easily accessible via public footpaths and local roads. First location can be found with these by these co-ordinates (51.2942462, 0.5395889) and second location can be accessed from Boarley Lane (51.3037479, 0.5262025) and then you walk alongside the track until the tunnel. Hope this helps.
