Shinecon VR: cardboard demos can't be navigated with included bluetooth controller (Banggood)

- I recently ordered the Shinecon VR cardboard. It came with a bluetooth remote controller. See bit.ly/2armIui
The Bluetooth remote included is useless as it doesn't help to touch those buttons in the official google cardboard app: play.google.com/store/apps/de...
What am I supposed to do, to open the VR each time I wanna touch a button? Very annoying.

I totally agree with you. The instructions are written in very poor english and it basically doesnt work as it was supposed to.
Of anyone else is having this issue switch it to key hold start and press X the mouse should pop up
1 Set Key Mode
2 Press Start + X to change to mouse cursor mode
3 User Start button when focusing on options, like you did on the cardboard

Try other combinations of modes, right now you are in just gamepad mode, these gamepads always have 3 modes usually: KB, Gamepad, Mouse, Icade, check with bang good hopefully they will give you the right combo
I tried all the combo, the right combo for the mouse it's START+X but it doesn't work properly...the cursor appear for 1 second. :/, i hope bang good can anyway solve the problem ^^

The banggood customer support answered me "It is hard to tell if there is something wrong with the remote control. Would you mind reinstalling the app or trying the remote control on other device?" so I guess they can't do much about it: crappy product.
Hei I got it working, I mean it works like a mouse. You know what happened: I smashed my phone screen and could not even swipe to use it, the screen is totally unusable. I turned on bluetooth via adb and then connected this bluetooth controller, one mode didn't work and the other worked as a mouse. I could swipe the device via mouse and use it, could finally turn off the alarms and the phone while waiting for a new screen. Awesome!
Try to activate bluetooth, then connect while the screen is still locked, see what happens. In my case the mouse popped up and I could use it as a mouse. Toggle was to "key" and I just pressed "start", the device was already paired before so it could connect at once.
