    I have this dragonfly design as a free download on my website. It comes in two sizes. The link is half way down on this blog post: www.stitchesby...

    Hi Julia - 😍 I love the color of the shirt and the fabric you added. Turned out really pretty. Gonna use your technique to roll up some sleeves on a few t-shirts that I have. Great idea and it looks like it came that way. Have fun in the sun. We’ve had a couple of days in the 70s. Not normal but I’ll take it. Cools back down after tomorrow. I’m so ready for warmer days and sunshine. Hugs! 💕🧵

      Hi Pam, We will be heading back to MN the beginning of April. It's been so warm back home that the ice will be off the lakes soon. We have had a wet winter here in AZ - the desert wildflowers will be blooming soon. Nothing like it! Have a great week. Julia

    This is adorable! Can you use a free hand embroidery attachment for any machine? I have so many ideas now!

    • @stitchesbyjulia
      @stitchesbyjulia  Před 2 měsíci

      Hi, Yes you can get a free motion foot for any machine. You may want to ask a sewing machine dealer to get the one that fits your machine. You will need to disengage your feed dogs. Machines either have a lever to lower the feed dogs or a plate to cover them. Set your stitch length to "0". You do all the moving. It takes practice but is really fun!

    What do you use as stabeliser in this project? Lov from Anneli in Sweden 🥰

      Hi, I am using a stitch and tear stabilizer. A light weight works best for a t-shirt. I only had a medium weight for this project. I find that the light weight is easier to tear when completed. Thanks for watching! Julia

    Does design support wash machine ? or dry machine ?

    • @stitchesbyjulia
      @stitchesbyjulia  Před 3 měsíci

      Yes, my designs can be washed. I put lots of stitching in my work. These are raw edge appliques so some fraying will occur. I love the texture but it's not for everyone.
