The new oil filter needs to be lubricated as shown in the video which absolutely is the right procedure technically. I'm a Marine Technician dealing in Heavy Diesel Engines Generators. The first service clip at Yamaha workshop that I watched couple of days ago requires the service personnel to be trained in such matters. Just opening the filter chamber draining oil doesn't serve purpose unless you clean thoroughly before fixing a new oil filter. Even the filler funnel needs to be airblown to remove minute dirt or dust particles before using for oil filling. Just holding routine tools 🛠️ for hot bolting or boxing up doesn't prove a great workshop hand if he doesn't bear in mind such procedures. This video is really worth watching and gaining knowledge if you need to do it yourself. Great video dear friend.
A brilliant step by pouring 1.1 liters of engine oil. I am an owner of FZS fi V2 and have been using MOTUL 7100 4t 10w40 grade of Fully synthetic engine oil since a long . I had also poured 1.1 liters (1100ml ) into the engine which is according to the owner’s manual provided by yamaha . Whenever u change the engine oil along with the oil filter always pour 1100 ml

Before pouring in the Lube, u didn't even tell to close the bolt which u have opened before for draining the old lube. If someone follows this seriously, they are gonna hate u forever for not telling that.😂
Bro mine is fzs 2011 model is there any problem if i use motul full sythteic oil.now iam using semi sythetic motuls.can i upgrade it to fully sythetic i mean if there will be any problems from the engine side.now my engin is perfect there is no white smoke or black smoke bike gives good pulling and milege too mine is stock carbator also

500 km approx. Obviously much smooth now. But you will feel this after crossing 100 - 150 kms mark. Need patience few days :) If the bike is new for you then let it set with company's yamalube. I crossed 10000 km so this is my result. Good luck...
yamaha mineral oils makes craking sound heat up quickly shifter make tight and harder leg pain free oil get over heat and burn so oil evaporate quick then the result engine bore get damage lose power free black smoke issue after u need to buy new bike that ur great advice bro 😂😂😂😂😂 u don't know about engine Oils pls shit up ok

But bottle provide only 1000 ml so how you add 100 Ml extra?

10w 50 in summer and 10w 40 in winter.

As of now 4000 km done, the oil is still doing good. i planned to check viscosity after 5000 km usage of the oil.

You need to continue the same grade through out. Check for original oil only as there are dubious oil packets available

Fzs needs 10W40, u r using 15W50, you will damage the bike
No problem. That will not damage the engine, fully synthetic oil gives longer life than 10W40
