How about the sound of this view?💥Cat 390 F, attacking my last pile at this site - part 1!😄

  • Join me while relocating from this empty cut to a new blast pile!🤙
    A bit sad actually, since the next pile will be my last on this site..🤭 At least with a 390..🤪
    The days of the big blasts are over, since we are closing in on the end of this project!🙉 Fast..😅
    Two hills are leveled out, and several valleys filled up! Now only some low cuts remain! Next blast pile are actually two blasts mixed together, as one blast were shot partially over another..
    Low cuts like this tends to be a bit rougher to handle, since there are not room for that much explosives when the drill holes are shallow..🤪😅
    Still, I’m very thankful that this granite turned out to break better when blasted, as I’m used to on other locations!😄
    Headphones and safety belt on, time to rip loose what the dynamite didn’t break..😂
    Enjoy!🙏

    Fantastic footage, It seems to me that you had bigger rocks and stone on this project. I would even say that your loads were 70- 90 tons, cause you bigger rocks and stone. I also saw what appears to be crushed rock off in the distance do I have that right, you that's what I like to see crushed rock or stone. Amazing footage, I would love to crush all that lol and turn it into gravel or aggregate and see it loaded, I like the sound of it. Like I said your videos are long, cause I don't like short videos. What happens to the majority of the rock and stone, do you know or are you allowed to say?? Keep up the good work. I'll be here to view.

      Thank you for watching this one as well, Johnny!🙏
      Hehe, the size of some rocks were a bit larger than earlier, but the weight of the truckloads are still the same!😄 Larger rocks tend to make the truckloads even lighter, since they make room for more “air” in the rock bed! Ordinary loads weighs about 50 tons, the ones with larger rocks between 45 and 50!
      Well, you can see the dozer in the background, receiving all my loads as usual!😋 You are right about those piles you saw, they are from that mobile crusher I made a video of earlier!😁

    • @norwegianearthmovers
      @norwegianearthmovers  Před 2 lety +1

      Hey!🙂 The undercarriage on this machine has endured about 9000 hours in this video!😊
      I had 2 390’s at this project, so I would always have a machine for backup if something would break down. The type of rock we are working with is crucial when it comes to wear on pads, as well as the bench work also decide how the undercarriage lasts in the long run. My backup machine had been operated by other guys in various kinds of rock, with various kind of focus on the bench works. Tracks, idlers and some rollers were pretty worn out at 9000 hours. I have mostly operated my machine in a limestone quarry, so the tracks on this machine is almost like new due to lower wear grade in the lime stone!😊
      I always focus on keeping the bench flat and free of larger rocks as well, so rollers and idlers we’re almost as new as well!🙃
