Say what you will about infant annihilator.. I didn’t start out as a big fan of them.. this album is big. Huge maturity from their earlier releases. The kingdom sitteth might be my favorite extreme metal song of the last year or two. The band is starting to understand structure. They’re just scene kid internet trolls with talent, but I think it’s turning into a fucking monster.

I still laugh every time When the album dropped I just put on my headphones and closed my eyes. It was like 50 minutes of the most intense music ever written by man and then when I expect something massive I get that really soft little breakdown and couldn't help but to lose my shit. Great reminder that even they don't take themselves too seriously and all of this is something to be enjoyed and have fun with.

Mike Russell Sorry to burst your bubble but the drums on all the albums are programmed. Aaron even said he programs them, he doesn’t actually play. But he’s stated he doesn’t program anything beyond his ability.
No bubble burst here my friend, really not that hard to play that fast, depends on your set up and the techniques that you implement, on the other hand if you program a machine that is not beyond your abilities that proves you have the ability and talent to play that fast, why then would you not just trust your ability, just a thought. I'm more of a Trey Williams fan myself, but Infant Annihilator are very unique and funny as shit with their video production. They should play live and do a tour with Thy Art Is Murder, would be a shit hot gig to see.

But doing these INSANE speeds on an actual kit is not possible. Maybe for an octopus, but definitely no human. It would be way too difficult.
I must challenge myself and seriously see how fast I can go without it sounding like a car crash.... any ideas welcome guys, let's see how fast a human can actually play without any machines, just man and drums. Let's put the challenge to all drummers out there.....!!!!!!
They're so god damn solid I love it. I also don't give a shit if some of the drumming is programmed. Meshuggah did that with one of their concept albums cuz it was rythmically too hard for humans to play so who cares; still love that bass drum brutality.
