Pat Sajdak in Rugrats style was ok except for the eyes. For whatever reason they made him and his kids iris and pupils take up nearly the entire visible eyeball, leaving almost no room for the whites. This dilated pupils look basically makes them look like an animal, possessed or drugged out....and really, the reason it's popular for demonic possessions is because it likens the human eye to an animal's....where there almost no white.
Me too, and no joke this was the 1st time I have ever seen Pat Sajak in something, aside from Wheel Of Fortune, as well, as this being the 1st time I've ever seen Pat Sajak in something without Vanna White.
Robo-Angelica's head exploding was a highlight of creepiness for me as a kid. Plus this being back in VHS days and no youtube, you only see that freaky skull face for a second each episode so it kinda stayed this really creepy barely seen outside of your memory thing.. almost kinda like subliminal.
"Wrong a roonie"! LMAO! 😂😂😂😂😂😂 You know, as a kid, that used to scare me a whole lot. But as an adult, I will find that line hilarious every single time.
I totally forgot about the Mega Diaper Babies scene where Robot Angelica’s head spins and explodes. The mechanical frame left after the explosion always creeped me out lol
I can't help but think that the reason they brought Angelitron back at the end of that episode was that they realized how much that skull face after her head blew up must've scared kids that they thought it would've been too much for kids to think that she stayed dead.
1:00 there's a random voice coming from you're bed and you're not one bit concerned who it is or how they got there you're more excited about the cake and ice cream? Smh
What I remember the most about the ending to "The Mega Diaper Babies" was how the final shot was literally a bolt of lightning streaking across the blackness.
Honestly this show is creepy af, at least the earlier episodes. I remember watching this as a kid and being so terrified. The creators of these episodes where definitely smoking something when they made these episodes
One of the funniest scenes on the Rugrats is when Angelica rides the Nausea Whirl, comes off all dizzy and when Didi asks "Angelica, are you okay?", she says "I think so, Uncle Stu."
Despite how terrifying the situation is, I do love the monster under the bed's voice. He sounds scary & like a very chill party dude at the same time. XD
1:48 That is not a scary scene. The real scary scene is when the brother of your best friend makes you invest said ten million dollars in a useless invent and you go bankrupt due of that.
If it was Predator, Chuckie and Tommy would be in less danger since those guys have a sort of moral code that protects humans who aren’t carrying firearms or who don’t represent an immediate threat to their existence. A xenomorph is worse cause they don’t give a shit.
Oh god, the robot one where it was the creepy face....I just now remember being terrified of that scene as a kid. I use to always close my eyes at that sence.
I actually think Rugrats' horrific moments were in many ways more effective than the ones in Ren and Stimpy and Rocko's Modern Life. The latter two clearly feel "adult," like sneaking dark/mature imagery into a kids' cartoon, so you almost know what to expect there. Rugrats on the other hand captures the surreal panic and madness you could only have experienced when you were a baby and your brain and five senses were still forming. The childlike art style being used to render horrific moments actually makes it scarier to me. These in this show stuck with me way longer when I was a kid and gave me many nightmares. On the other hand Ren and Stimpy never really scared me, it only either grossed me out or I thought some of the psychedelic moments were sorta cool and trippy.
my cousin got me a vhs tape of that fricking monster under the bed episode for my birthday when i was a kid and i was so scared !!!! i had nightmares every day and had to sleep with my parents for a while. they had to throw the tape away bc i was scared of it lmao
I remember watching scenes of Rugrats as a kid especially the monster hides under Chuckie's bed and talks to him but it turns out that he is actually his father's jumper and a creepy robot baddie. I also remember that weird smiling bloke.

Exactly! I remember thinking the same thing about how Chaz wanted Chuckie to ride a bike, and the kid is only 2! I didn't get my first bike (with training wheels lol) until I was 5! And I didn't get a real bed until I was 3.
At 3:21, Angelitron sends her flying animals, is a reference to the scene from The Wizard Of Oz when the Wicked Witch of the West sends her flying monkeys.
Ah yes, I remember Under the Bed and The Mega Diaper Babies well...for being HORRIFYING! A lot of the music in The Mega Diaper Babies episode reminds me of the theme song of Warhawk on the Commodore 64. That stinger with the mecha Angelica at the end of that episode has especially stuck with me.
