    Great video David. My favorite is the inside border.

    Really useful video, Thank You! I use borders on my photos, but your method is probably easier and gives more control, so will be using that in future. Thanks!

    I do like the inside version. I'd seen the 'resize canvas' approach but this is easy to visualize and get right. I use some stock "handmade paper" images for surface texture but will try the noise option and see how that looks.
    👍👍

      @AllenReinecke I always found Resize Canvas "guess how much" but as we've seen the crop tool you can see how it looks :) Worth trying noise and seeing how it compares to paper texture. Cheers David

    Super useful tutorial. Thank you so much! I wish it would be possible to create a super realistic mat/passe-partout effect easily.

      Once you have created and border or frame you can always save one as a template, that way it's very quick and easy to change the image😄 Cheers David

    A great video, thanks. It's difficult to choose but I think method 3 is good. Can I just ask one question? why do you need to resize the document? Love your presentation style, it's informative, clear and easy to follow, thanks again.

    • @davro06
      @davro06  Před 10 měsíci

      Great question @Mike-ss7er. Images from cameras these days are huge so resize the image to whatever you use it for. This could be for print, website or email, in reality, images where you use this style of border will mainly be for website, Camera Club or email which is the reason I used that size but you can use any size you want :) Thanks also for the very kind comments.
      Cheers David
