Man I would listen to much more black metal if bands used this melodic style more. I always felt that nothing makes music more epic and grandiose than some strong melody.

I love Imperium Dekadenz, I don't know what else to say! It's really awesome listening to this after their other albums and hearing how their sound has progressed but still has a unique style to where you know it's them playing. Master musicians in their genre!
I'm a fan of Lunar Aurora. This is quite similar. German Black Metal truly has that special something. Heimdalls Wacht is also a good example. There's depth and a certain vibe of mysticism which one can not find elsewhere in this particular form.
