    Thanks for the video, this is extremely helpful info. One comment about pasting into vi/vim: make sure you are already in Insert mode before pasting by either hitting 'i' (insert) or 'a' (append). The 'a' in 'api' is actually interpreted as the append command, which is why the 'a' doesn't get copied. It may also be beneficial to run the command ':set paste' to make things paste cleaner.

      my advice is to always start with `kubectl create` if you can. try running `k create ingress -h` (similar to the video) and there's a couple of examples to get you started.

    Hi, I'm going to present the exam in the next week, someone told me the current version of the CKA deprecate docker and use containerd instead. That means when the questions ask for container interaction, this must be executed with crictl, it's this true?

    • @ascode-com
      @ascode-com  Před 2 lety

      yes i believe so. crictl is available on the nodes and can be used to interact with containers.

    Both acloudguru and kodekloud require monthly recurring subscriptions. Isn't there any other resource that is free. Have already paid for the CKA exam bundle but the website of the linux foundation is seriously non-engaging and the training (which I found with difficulty) is more of text based rather than video training.

    Hey man quick question. Since it changed to fully remote desktop now does that mean we can't use premade google chrome bookmarks anymore? I'm taking it this Friday and my plan was to sign in with a chrome guest account that only had my k8s doc bookmarks for quick reference, but if it's fully remote desktop does that mean you can only use the browser provided in the remote desktop?

    • @ascode-com
      @ascode-com  Před 2 lety

      yes that's correct, because it's a fully remote desktop you won't be able to keep any of those bookmarks. So make sure to memorize the important things you think you'll need. good luck with your exam on friday!!
