Iv been there so many times and i learned how to ignore the people that make you feel down or alone. I know sometimes it feels hard or impossible, buh i added a little positivity and happiness in my life and changed everything for me. This song reminds me of a time that i felt the worst emotionS, the "being replaced", "being betrayed", "heartbroken" , "depressed" "Comparison" etc. *at the same time* . Man that time was my hardest time because I've to write a full page of "I'm fine" so I can pretend that i'm ok. I've to get through this time on my own, then i realized the positive idea for those emotions :
- "Being replaced" : New friends and competitor to try my best
- "Being betrayed" : Now i know she's not my true friend. I avoided a toxic friend!
- "Heartbroken" : Why must i waste my tears and energy for a boy that hurt my heart? Such a waste! Move on, he's not the only boy alive in this word
- "Depressed" : That's not the moment i'm weakest, it's just a long time that i took to re-think about everything and my decisions and promise to myself not to make that mistakes again
- "Comparison" : I'm not perfect, so do they. No one's perfect, just try your best!

God I just heard this song fully today, i just felt like i wanted to listen to something and thought this sounded so pretty from those edit vids and gosh it really is.. I can't stop crying this song hurts I don't have any people who i loved pass away cuz I never had any close bonds with anyone my entire life apart from my mom and brother so I may not share the same feeling as others in the comments but I have been living a shitty life, had a abusive father for 9 years, then divorced parents, then my mum started becoming mentally unstable and telling me to die then saying nice things after she snaps out of her angry episodes everday(i love her so much cuz she has been so amazing and strong but her words hurt so bad), I never did anything good enough, failed in 12th grade ffs. Have been struggling financially and emotionally cuz now even my mum and brother have become distant, I feel so lost and alone. I am not even an adult yet but I already have the burden of paying rent and saving any money so I can go to college. I am not religious plus im queer while everybody around me are the exact opposite, I never found anyone who truly cared for me. I feel so trapped with everything weighting me down. All my dreams were abandoned so I could earn enough money to survive, I'm so tired I wanna leave this place and run so far away even tho I'm broke (and broken, heh.), and listening to this song makes me feel so euphoric, like I'm living a different amazing life on this gorgeous island with a port city because I love the ocean even though I have never seen one, enjoying life and dancing without any painful thoughts, carefree, surrounded with people who can understand me and who will love me for who i am. I just wanna be free and it hurts so bad that I will only ever feel this way in my imagination listening to songs like this making up a reality in my head, so far away from this messed up life I'm stuck in. I hate my life and myself sm right now. I hate waking up. I wish I could sleep and never wake up. I wish I could live in that fantasy world forever or just die. I really am tired to my bone.

This song lasted me for 2 years now, I come back every now and then to listen to it.
During those 2 years I was facing very tough times (medical studies, 1 year which is very selective in France and that you can only try twice, one of the most difficult studies you can have here)
This song always allowed me to take a step back, think at the things as they were and sum it up in my head.
I would always sing it crying in the shower, but always wanting to better myself and be better the next day. I did it, I succeeded in those studies after the 2 worst years of my life and now I listened to this song with hope for the future and great happiness.
I hope it to have one day the same effect on you all, do not give up on your dreams, keep working on yourself, don’t blame the fate or other people for what’s happening to you, blame yourself but in a way that will make you stronger. It worked for me, a miserable being that succeeded on his dream through hard work.

There was this cat i met a long time ago..i used to go on walks outside and think about life one day i met a cat and he let me pet him and i bonded with him he followed me home and ate from our trash i finally took him in and we lived together through highschool he never wanted to leave my room always staying with me sleeping with me and always wanted to cuddle and watch youtube with me...one day i graduated high school and moved to my grandparents to join the ARMY it was 7 months later i finally got in as an 11B in the ARMY i made it to week 4 and i was told he was dead on my pillow in my room...i found this song in basic while thinking of him and i cried for a second thinking about how maybe everyday i was gone he thinks i left him and hes waiting on my pillow for me to come back..looking at the door everyday for me to come in and be the one to give him his food...it hurts so much when i think that...he was the only person i hung out with..i didnt care for friends in highschool because all i did was literally get made fun of..so id go home and hang out with him...true story..right before i left to go to basic training i held him in my lap looking him in the eye and told him not to die while i was gone...he was my everything shortly after i found out he was dead i lost motivation for basic training being depressed for the remainder of it..i always wanted to be in the ARMY now i hate it without my BOY its not worth anything..i forever will hate my self for leaving him alone...they said he stopped eating and kept meowing under the door for me like he used to when i went to school..but this time he did it everyday about the same time at 0600 and all through the day...it hurts to know he waited for me for so long..goodbye

My first Corgi died 3 weeks ago, he got parvo virus. He's a strong little one, 3 months of year old but i can clearly feel his will to live, every time I say "don't give up, little guy", he gets up and tries to eat and drink, even when the disease is so bad that he can't stand anymore, I still feel the same way of his efforts. 3 times took him to the doctor, he looked around to guaranteed that I'm still there with him...I have nothing more to say, Asian culture has something called "reincarnation", I hope he will be reincarnated as my child one day.

I feel ya bro, my great grandparents died before I can even remember them. My unborn brother passed when I was two due to my mothers breast cancer which killed her when I was three. We lost everything and had to move to Florida with my grandparents. We had to give away all of our dogs but one. She died months after. My grandpa died when I was 8. My uncle died in summer of 2022. A couple weeks later my friend of 4 years used everything that was personal against me and harassed me a little bit then cut me off. Leading me to have a little bit of trust issues. After my uncle I started to get a little depressed then my friend added to it. I started missing my mother. And my friend killed himself around Christmas. He was also kinda my first crush. And my last i think. You’re not alone man

For anyone here: if something bad happens or something sad happens to you guys i would like to say the past is the past dont judge yourself. We gotta keep fighting and move on to the future not stick with the past. lately i just moved to the US by myslef I am only 14 my mother is in hospital taking her second surgery. and when i arrived in the US my mom had bad news but didnt want to tell me my grandpa had a shock and he went to the ICU and he had something wrong with his blood pressure his vessel and this disease could cause death but now he is out of the ICU and staying in hospital he also got stroke on his legs he cant walk anymore. and he told my mom he nearly shot himself with a gun becasue he said he didnt want everyone to feel pressured and stressed becasue of him I am very worried but i cant come back to see him he tells my mom he wants to see me every day. But i got to be brave and fight on with my college and my sports for my dream.

My crush had just rejected me for good and I was crying in my bed! I listened to this song for atleast 30 minutes and then I said fuck it and jumped out of my bed at 4am!Took on my cloths, gathered my jacket and some golves and sneaked my way down the stairs to the basement door leading to the garden! It was pooring down rain and it felt so good! The feeling of reality! I went down to the centrum and sat at a bench while the rain was pooring over me! I felt so alive and just the sound of rain hitting your jacket while the only things you saw was the lights from the centrum! I saw about 3 cars and I think I was outside for atleast 2 hours tonight! Now im sitting in my bed again writing this!
