  • @tileslasher
    @tileslasher Před 7 lety +1

    The exhaust is as big as in my 650 hp Vette with a d-1 procharger, that's a trip. Sometimes you get way better back pressure with a little smaller exhaust. But seems good on this. I've got a 86 Vette 396 striker Tpis miniram, 48 lb injectors, with a 4L80 tranny and a yank 3,300 stall converter everything forged with world 200 cc heads. I can't hardly explain the cars I've spanked in the short space to write lol 👍👍👍

    • @DerekBaranProductions
      @DerekBaranProductions  Před 7 lety

      Haha nice man! Yeah the skylines are known to have that JDM look which would be big exhaust and things like that. But that's sick man! Shoot me an email of the cars! I'd like to see

    • @ricky2516
      @ricky2516 Před 7 lety +1

      with turbos the bigger the exhaust the better they flow [to a point, to big and it'll stuff the tune] these skylines are monsters tho can get around 1000HP out of a stock RB26 [GTR engine] just need stronger head studs and put the boost and fuel up the RB20's are more of the fun drift around with your mates RB25 is a lil more serious then there's the RB30 [VL commodore and R31 skyline] single cam but low toque like no tomorrow, turbo 30's are crazy and RB30 blocks with RB25 heads [RB25-30] are weapons.
      sorry for the un-asked skyline lesson just love the car's and they are quite new to you US people so thought i'd share a bit of RB knowledge

      flash linger like what do you mean? I bought the most crapped out one that was falling apart and I fixed everything for less than $1.5k. I did: new p/s pump, coilovers, camber arms, sparks, coolant, oil, turbo timer, full nissan gasket kit, pod filter, replaced all lights resprayed roof, boot and bumpers, replaced trans fluid and diff fluid, rewired all the headlights, 3 inch exhaust turbo back and installed a stereo and replaced heaps of cracked rubber hoses for less than $1.5k now it runs like a dream

  • @ricky2516
    @ricky2516 Před 7 lety +3

    we have these in Australia they tend to be about $7,000 to $11,000 there quick but don't push you back in your seat... we also have a rule here with P plates where people can't drive anything over 130KW per ton [174.3HP per 2204.6 pounds] and nothing turbo or V8 for the first 3 years of getting your licence [or 25 years old] but we can drive the GTS-T if we ask our nanny government if it's cool [they always say yes to RB20 GTS-T's just not RB25 GTS-T's and no GTR's ever on P plates and no engine swaps unless that car came out with said engine] most drift car's here tho tend to be the R31 skylines with RB30's or SR20 S13's
    congrats on been able to get 32's now but keep in mind only GTR's are the real fast ones and please don't wreck em there price has sky rocketed since they became legal in the US

    • @ricky2516
      @ricky2516 Před 7 lety

      not sure about Perth or anything in WA i know in the northern territory you can drive much more powerful cars. i live in Queensland so there the rules here and new south wales and Victoria is the same but NSW[new south wales] has alot more rules like P platers cant driver over 90kmh [55.9MPH] but in QLD[Queensland] we can drive 110kmh [68.3MPH] in the 110 zones but if a Queenslander with P plates goes to new south wales we cant drive over 90kmh [like that stopes us haha we just say oh sorry i didn't know]

    • @ricky2516
      @ricky2516 Před 7 lety

      QUEENSLAND
      In Queensland, provisional drivers need to hold their P1 licence for at least a year before being granted their P2 licence. The difference between the two? P1 licence holders can carry only one passenger aged below 21 between 11:00pm and 5:00am. P-platers in Queensland can accumulate four demerit points per year before having their licence cancelled for a set time.
      WESTERN AUSTRALIA
      Over in Western Australia, young drivers cannot drive between midnight and 5:00am, unless they apply for a special exemption for work or study. After six months on a P1 licence, West Australians get their P2 licence, which lifts this curfew. P-platers in Western Australia can drive all types of cars and can accumulate four demerit points before a loss of licence occurs.
      NORTHERN TERRITORY
      The earliest you can get your provisional licence in Australia is at the age of 16 and six months - in the Northern Territory. However, P-platers are restricted to driving no faster than 100km/h, even if the speed limit is higher.
      Territorian P-platers can also drive high-performance vehicles and can accumulate four demerit points before having their licence cancelled for a set time.
      NEW SOUTH WALES
      Finally, NSW, the strictest state on P-platers, sees P1 licence holders unable to tow more than 250kg or exceed 90km/h. If the P1 licence holder is under 25, the driver cannot carry more than one passenger under the age of 21 between 11:00pm and 5:00am.
      Also, if the driver is under 21, they are restricted from driving high-powered vehicles. Drivers will get their P2 licence after 12 months, and this sees the speed restriction increase to 100km/h.
      P1 drivers get can accrue four demerit points before losing their licence. P2 drivers get seven points.
      P-plate laws can get very confusing, especially when travelling state to state. If you have any doubts or concerns, you should always contact your local traffic authority.

      @drkillyourcommander Před 7 lety

      Eternity you can swap an RB26 into a gtst with an RB25 tranny and still spend way less then someone who bought a GTR. Hell buy a gts-4 and just slap the RB26 right in, still have awd. and then spend the 10 grand you saved building it up past a GTR. plus GTRs are FAT. They are so heavy. "big heavy skyline, all wheel drive" pfff...

    • @DJDiggityDubstep
      @DJDiggityDubstep Před 7 lety

      You can buy a r32 gtr for 15k where I live. You aren't saving much buying a gts-4 and putting an rb26 in it, you would save 5k max and end up with something still worse than a stock gtr and you wouldn't get nearly the resale value a real gtr would.
