Hello DDW, you wouldn't happen to have this video in a better quality? To better see the color of the horse's tongue every time the mouth is pulled wide open?
Dressage is about excellence in equitation -balance and harmony with the horse -within one minute I can see the rider spurs in horses side, rider looking down ,rider behind the vertical ,therefore horse -a tense horse . We need to address basic equitation in dressage riding as in all equestrian disciplines. These well bred horses cover a lot of rider faults -which the horse tolerates -many would not .
Always behind the vertical, no hind leg activity, open mouth, everything is wrong here. This disastrous riding style hasn't anything to do with Classical Dressage.
Only modern dressage is obsessed with the head being behind the vertical. In REAL classical dressage it is OBSERVED that the position of the head is the barometer of pelvic engagement. This horse IS ENGAGED, but very young and early in its development. But IT IS SEEKING THE BIT. Stop spouting nonsense and go read Baucher.
@@ImogenC-rt3fm the wrong riding of Modern Dressage has turned on The Spanish School. There are documentarys about Rollkur riding there. Please inform yourself

Birds of a Feather
There is no extension. In true good FEI extension, if judges followed the FEI rules, a horse must extend with his whole body.
