Last but not least, susbcribe to keep real country music alive! - Hudba
I played that steel and steinberger. I still have them both 2024! I miss those days with Buck.
That must have been a great experience !
You sound good there, Terry.
Best country singer ever. That is Buck Owens!
YOU SAID IT HOSS
Agreed!
Damn right
I don’t get no better than Buck Owens
I saw Buck, Don and Doyle in Copenhagen, Denmark in 1969. Great show. He can still do it here. Real Country Music.
Buck was a great guitar player. Played all over the world and could afford to live in lavish city and house but called Bakersfield his home til he passed.
i saw him play at the crystal palace a few weeks before he passed. i’ll never forget it
Much like Mickey Gilley, he's still here in Pasa "get-down" dena when not on the road.
He was a studio guitar player too, before ever becoming big, he had a bad called the Play Boys, School House Boys and discovered the Fender Telecaster, it was almost called the Broadcaster, Buck advertised for Fender! Buck was a County Rock n Roller !
Buck had a big Ranch in California and had a studio on the property where the Buck Owens Ranch Shows were shot! It was before Hee Haw, check them out on CZcams! Back in the 60's many people had B & W TV Sets, oh they missed out on those wild, beautiful suits they wore!
I no buck Owens when I was a young girl use to go see him a t Lakewood fair grounds in Atlanta Georgia and still watch his show on hehe
Yes Buck Owens is a very good singer and when he sings Baker Street with Dwight Yocum. 2 amazing men ❤️❤️❤️
I was born in 53, so in 66/67/68/69, you know what I was listening to. Many evenings I had to ask Mom to get Dad to turn the music down while I was trying to do the little homework that I did. He had a big tv/radio/stereo, about 6 ft. long in the living room. Many evenings of listening to Buck, Merle, and George. Buck in the 60s was unstoppable, great band, great songs. Never stopped listening.
Buck Owens is country music !!.
I remember when I was about 10 y/o and was trying to find some music on the stero I heard" Tiger by the Tail". and was dancing in the living room .. my parents thought I went nuts. From that point I was hooked on Buck Owens and the sound of Don Rich. There sound would always put you in a good mood no matter what. GOD bless Buck and Don , may they make the Angels dance in the heavens above.
Good comments. Nothing wrong with happy music.
Yes!
I was around 5 and the song for me was Girl On The Sugar Pie Lane! After that I made a TELECASTER out of 2 pieces of scap wood and put on concerts outback as l played and sang on top of a flat roof doghouse!!
I've been a fan of Buck Owens since the 1960s when we use watch the Buck Owens Show on TV. It would come on right before Hee Haw, lol.
Real country music
I love Buck Owens music. It’s the best! 💖
Yes!
A quarter in the jukebox,I remember when it five for a quarter, miss the old days
My mother ran 2 beer joints from 63- 74, I remember 6 for a quarter, and those were silver quarters
Real real music
The first Buck Owens song I learned was " Buckeroo", the band I played in 1983-2000 opened and ended with it for years. We got to open for Beatlemania and Big Wheelie and the hub caps.
Thanks. That's a great comment.
Buck wasone of great country singers
One of the saddest things is that country music is gone.
Amen, Brother Rodney.

No its not.
Country music is very much alive and well

Buck closing speech about his daddy is a real tear jerker. I hope Buck’s estate still has that guitar.
As a kid, I remember Buck's red, white and blue guitars that Sears sold out of their catalogs.
Ifeel Buck neverperformed the same after loss of
Amazing Don Rich .
@@lucguenette7534 Don Rich wasn't there for that concert
To me this was his last really great performance it was all her haw crap after this
But you are right Don was amazing
I miss Don Rich here😔 great singers!

Yes absolutely so up beat and that great voice of his and that band 🙂 the best he is so down to earth and also very spiritual to
Beautiful to see some of the audience decked out in Western-style clothes.
Better than no Buck.
Legend I'm listening 🎧 here in Henley Beach 🏖️ Australia 2021
He also had outstanding voice different than any of the others
Yes exactly his music is so upbeat enjoyable to listen and like you said than the other ones
OMG! I grew up with Buck and I love all his songs....
My heart skips a beat whenever I hear this magic music ,so sad that we have lost most of our genuine country music artists, just thankful that I have a great collection of this music , and also thankful for sites like this , keep it coming and thanks
We all miss him .Peter Keane
I loved Buck
That was badass. Thank you . Here in Texas loving music. Buck was the Frank Z of country. Thanks for the awsome show!

OWEN BEST COUNTRY A ND WESTERN IN THE WORLD CIA AMERICAN EMBASSY 2021
Fantastic. This is what country music should be.
Buck Owens one of the greatest country singers of all time we all miss you Buck
If you want to hear Buck and Don Owens light it up, search Buck Owens Carnegie Hall 1966. HeHaw was great but made a few people forget what a trailblazer he was while Nashville was going a different direction.
Who is Don Owens, never heard of him,!!!!
@@nutindoin2, they weren't actually married.
My late Father's All-time favorite, well, Buck & Ol' Marty Robbins also. Pop would travel from So-Calif up to Buck's Crystal Palace in Bakersfield to see him perform. He alway's was after me to go with them, but I never made the time & it's now one of my biggest regrets 🙏 RIP Pop & Buck ✝️
I simply love THE BAKERSFIELD SOUND!!
The beauty of her face was beyond my wildest dreams...like cherry blossoms blooming on the mountains in the early spring...
No one wrote them like Buck Owens.
BUCK OWENS! GOOD SHOW !!
Love that the steel guitarist has a headless bass before headless basses and guitars exploded in popularity
thats a headless guitar
If you ain't sweating, it ain't COUNTRY!!
Donnie Barsness loved his singing,R I P,Donnie
Totally awesome 👏 👏👏👍👍😃
I sure miss Buck and Don.
This is hard to beat. 🤠☝

*SUPER MUSIC*
American music
I love country music theses guys are great
I find this style of country far more appealing than any of the modern generations stuff.
Thanks everybody for uploading Buck Owens.
I was a truck driving woman. I loved it and miss it. The hum and whine just get in your blood.
Amazing the twang that Steinberger was producing.
18:07 Buck rips out a great solo!
I was at that best gig in my life rip buck
Don Richs' guitar was much the same as the one that Buck is playing !
They were both FENDER TELECASTERS
I believe that is Don's Tele. I heard Don's wife gave it to Buck when he came out of retirement. I know that Marty Stuart owns Don's silver sparkle nowadays and that it was given to him by Buck.
@@thor697 buck was one of the greats of country music he is sadly missed
@@jeffclark7888 Responding to TED's post above I believe that is the correct sceanario. Its in good hands if Marty Stuart now owns it. He is steeped in Country Music history. I'm sure it might end up in the CMHOF someday. Don Rich needs to be inducted in a "side man, musician" category. Hope it happens soon.
That is Don's guitar
Always loved Buck Owen’s music , and Dwight Yoakam, I then found out that I share my birthday with Dwight, even down to the year,, spent my 60th birthday weekend in Bakersfield at a big drag race meeting up at Famoso then finished with birthday dinner at Bucks Crystal Palace
Had to be after....😁
Buck owens you was the best love your musikk
Miss Don Rich so much, wondering if that's Don Richs' old guitar. They were so awesome together Buck and Don 😢
I've heard that Don's wife gave Buck Don's silver sparkle Tele to take on the road when he came out of retirement.
@@thor697 I believe you are correct.
Those two were a pair. Perfect.
I bet Buck treasures that guitar.
Ted that is Don's guitar. He ad replaced the maple neck with a rosewood one. Bucks still had the maple capped neck.
Put quarter in the jute box and listen to any country music you like, Not no more ,
I raised my girls on country music now they like rap where did I go wrong?
White girls have always like black music. I know it's a stretch to call "rap" music, but you get my point.
Just look at the beginnings of rock, and there were white girls shaking their ass and going crazy to Chuck Berry and Little Richard..
No one will ever fill them boots
I listen wen a kid sang hs songs wen i drank made gf cry she still love me told hr atograph later
Never the same sound after Don Rich.
I am an Old hillbilly and proud of it. I really like the videos that you post on here.
Pedal guitarist's guitar is the same as Eddie Van Halen!! A Steinberger!!
What a brilliant. Voice
Yes!
Great backing group.
I love his hat miss that man
It does nt get anybetter then that ❤
I miss Buck
Love Buck!
This is incredible and beautiful! After all, didn't 4 British lads once cover a song called ACT NATURALLY?
Yes, they did. Buck wrote it.
Wow!
That's some mighty fine pickin
Is the Drummer there the original drummer for the Buckaroos from back in the 60s? They used to say, he had been the "Lady-Killer" of the group.
Would that be Willie Cantu??
No... that is not Willie.
The drummer is Jim McCarty. Willie Cantu left the group in 1969, I believe.
Beautiful 🌹 🦋 🪷
lovesong😇🥰😍🤩😘
Although Buck let the great Don Rich play most of the Telly licks in their day, he was a fine picker himself as well.
Haha that's during my ten age life.
😘⚘👏👏👏
Hello Trouble!
👍🎶🎵
In my humble opinion if your 💯 🇺🇸 hillbilly you're gonna love that hotdog song ☺️
Luv A11
Tell ya what...I sure miss the Men n Women...cool clothes, good tunes...not like ...???...today!

He'll I dont either.lol
Who’s the steel player
Terry Christofferson
Jim Shaw (keyboards), Terry Christofferson (lead guitar & pedal steel), Doyle Curtsinger (bass) and Jim McCarty (drums).
Dang it !...to many dang commercials ! why do we interrupt such great things as this whith dang crap ?
B 4 r after Hee Haw ?
After
too much of you pushing your site
The best ever!!
Notice Buck dosen’t smile like he did when Don was alive. Like he said he lost his joy of playing when Don died
Yes, I noticed. Don´s death was a great loss for him. He asked Don´s family his guitar to play on these new shows but the magic they created was gone.
You're right, it doesn't look like Buck is having much fun up there without Don :-(
I saw a documentary that said Buck wasn't just depressed, he actually had a nervous breakdown when Don died.
Great show, but Don and Buck were so tuned in. Osmosis. Vocally and musically. Don ripped the Tele and Buck was a great picker. Great music from the original Buckaroos. Great band.
I bet he missed Don so much. They were phenomenal together.
Can’t thank you enough for this channel. Makes a mediocre day good again
Love this. Do you have any Pinkertons Colours footage from 1989 ? My husband was the bass player and sadly passed 2 and a half years ago. Would love to see him on here . Thanks.
Sorry, Mrs Campbell, but these videos are all what I´ve got. Thank you for sharing your memories and for watching!
do you have any David Houston live at Wembly? I really enjoy all of your videos you post, Thanks
