I believe that internally as well one could store max up to 8TB. Granted there really isn't any 2,5" 8TB drive existing, but luckily 4-6TB internal drives can be good enough.

You would need to transfer the game from the first drive to the PS4's internal drive, then from the internal drive to the second drive. Since only one external drive can be supported at a time, there is no workaround for this with the PS4's current functionality.

The manufacturer of the drive is less important than the other specs (e.g., must be USB 3.0, must not exceed 8 TB, etc.). No, I have never encountered any data corruption issues, lagging loads, etc. Hope that helps!

Hello,i allready have a 500gb external and want to upgrade to 2tb.If i erase all my games of the external(i will revdownload them to my new one),will i lose any progress (saves)of the games?Because all the save files i can find are in the internal hard drive.Thanks in advance!
No, you won't lose any progress because as you've already said, the game progress saves are housed on the internal hard drive by default. You should be safe, but I would always recommend backing up those saves to the PlayStation cloud and/or a separate flash drive just in case.

this dude went on a rampage of fucking over 12 minutes but it only need around 2 minutes speech. let me sum it up for yall, yes u can use as many external hard disk to store ur ps4 games, as long as they don't go over 18tb. for internal hard disk, u can swap ur original one out with a 2 tb hard disk ( no more than 2tb). u can only store games on ur external hard disk , all ur game saves, screen shot will be store in ur internal hard disk. u can only operate 1 external hard disk at a time.

When it comes to messing around with game data and hard drives, I would prefer to be as clear and explanatory as possible so as not to cause anyone any issues should they try to attempt what I'm suggesting. But it seems to me you didn't pay much attention anyway because I never claimed 18 TB to be the firm limit; rather that my current configuration was setup to accommodate that amount. Obviously, more space could be made available via swapping drives.
