A song has never made me cry.
Until now.
I have a lot of history and trauma with loss of people around me. Each time, I've missed the opportunity to say farewell or prepare for it, often because it was unexpected and sudden. This makes me certain that in retrospect, those who've passed in my life - friends, family and even beloved pets - all would've known that I'd be okay.
Even if it would take some time to get to a point where I could truly say that I was okay without lying to myself.
I feel that pain. Lost my younger cousin to suicide. Lost a lot of people in my past. I'm a daughter of single mother. There's so much you want to say. But these lyrics say a lot. Express feelings I cant describe. Very comforting for me too

@@smaakjeks what makes you think there was autotune in the other? the notes weren't really beyond unreasonable voice actor pitches, even the most rudimentary voice actor with a few singing lessons could reach those notes so im not sure what indication you have to suggest it was autotune.
This one is just not a well performed, auto-tune or not. auto-tune just raises and lowers the natural range of the voice, you're not going to be able to express emotional queues with autotune unless you know something I dont.

So question here, I noted that in the actual version sung in the show the line is "if the seven rings collapse" not "if the seven hells collapse" ... why the change?
There were a few other changes too such as:

Probably to try to keep it as close to the original as possible without 100% copying it

Ngl I've just realized how much this song changed by the time it released. Ngl in my opinion it was for the best as some of these parts sound kinda crappy, but they cut out a whole verse
this whole version was pretty difficult to listen to. the first song was an IMMEDIATE pull, this one lacks the emotional significance in the vocals. some parts are just weird...nasaly.
This is the demo version and also it’s not really meant to have the parts of the episode because again it’s the demo and also I don’t really care how it sounds or whatever but to me Sam has a good voice for this song and plus it doesn’t need emotional significance for you with the odd name which I don’t need to mention because it’s the demo and it doesn’t really need that since it’s not officially in the episode

They claim it to be a "Cover" but they change up some lyrics, add their own Lyrics, and I don't think that's a cover. It could be an "Extended Cover" or something, but it isn't JUST a cover.

It's not a cover at all. This is the song that was written for the show. Vivzie and Co changed it to fit the scene.

And helluva boss is a bastardization of what the eternal damnation that hell is, and it doesn’t put heaven in a good light either.

Not gonna lie...this sounds utterly terrible...what the HELL did he do to the song! there's like no serious tone anymore! the way he exaggerates some of the words...dropping the tone abruptly, I realize its a creative twist but jeez, it takes all the punch out of the song. You're singing a song serenading a child, act like it. 2:24 like BRUH what was that noise? like you plugged your nose when saying "sign"

@@smaakjeks not according to the release date. the show sounds far more genuine than this studio version. i mean, the guys probably recording that stuff from his own home studio. if he didnt have the helluva staff to help orientate the song it may explain why it lost its original impact.
