I’m so excited for this flip-through. I’ve been eying is deck because of my Celtic heritage. Glad that it will remain on my list! It really is beautifully done. For those who like bigger decks, Rockpool as a standard usually puts out Oracle decks with 36 cards and colored guidebooks. If the number of cards is a dealbreaker, then Rockpool might not be a fit with you. The card stock of this deck is an improvement over some of their older card stocks. I love it, personally. The symbols and art style are beautiful. I love the edging on the cards. The art and colors are just enough that it should easily go with other Celtic or nature based decks (e.g., the Wildwood Tarot, the Druid Craft Tarot, the Celtic Tarot, the Mystic Faerie Tarot maybe even the Green Witch Tarot, the Witches’ Wisdom Tarot, and the Forhaxa Tarot. It’s nice to the artist portray the fae and elementals, and other beings in a way closer to traditional folklore. Love the symbols throughout. Love the keywords. Would love a wider breath of Celtic folklore covered, or some Druidic practices covered (they do have the shaman spiral card, and there is a “Celtic Shamanism” but Druidic and similar nature-based magickal and healing practices are terms representative for that area / no need to pull other Shamanic cultures into a who can use the term Shaman issue), but that isn’t a detractor from what is there. In fact, since Celtic is a term that applies to a number of peoples of similar ethnolinguistic/ethnocultural roots, to create a balanced deck that is as representative as possible of all the cultures that share those roots would have to be accomplished with general themes and straightforward messages (like this deck) or a gigantic detailed deck with an encyclopedia-like guidebook. I’m looking forward to getting it sometime soon!

I agree with you, Luis. There is a an older Oracle called the Celtic Tree Oracle, but that doesn’t mean it can’t be covered in this deck. There are also Celtic names for each moon. That could have been covered as well.
This deck looks absolutely beautiful. As soon as you revealed the first card my heart felt tingly. I seemed to be drawn into them. I can't explain it. There is something so simple, yet beautiful about them. I'm normally hesitant with certain eyes, but these don't worry me. The simplicity of these cards make them extra special. Nothing to distract you. I was meant to see this deck today.. I know it... I was carving some branches yesterday to make wands , for myself and grandchildren. I just had urge to do it and felt the energy of nature around me..

I came here from Nicola's book Plant Spirit Medicine which I just bought today. I am really connecting to her energy so I had to check out her oracle deck. This is now on my list. Love the cards. The dark eyes don't bother me because the fae are not like us, and are to be treated with caution and respect.
Oh this deck is beautiful! I was on the fence about getting it so did a google and this video popped up. The moment I saw the cards, I just felt so connected to them!

My friend keeps telling me Celtic Shamans are similar to Native American Shamans and trying to get me to study Celtic Shamanism. She doesn't get it that its similar but very different in many ways.

I liked this post because it is so informative and important. I hope you don’t feel pressured, Luis, or that at least your friend respects you when stating that the traditions are different. Even if they were nearly identical, they wouldn’t be the same respecting heritage and culture. I hope you continue to grow in whatever your soul is guiding you to pursue. 🖤
@@rowan.rising thanks Rowan, it's kinda a long story but in a nutshell my friend means well but doesn't see my side of the argument. It's mostly her view point she is right but a small point but she doesn't understand that anyone can be a Druid but only a very few Native Americans are hand selected be able to train to be Shaman. I can go on for awhile on the topic but let me say it's not something that can be mixed.
A few of the images remind me of the Tarot of the Sidhe by Emily Carding..(I wrote that before the sidhe card appeared ) :)

I have this deck.., it's up my alley & I especially love that it has green gilding on the edges, considering it's only a small deck so in a way we kinda get out money's worth. Plus, I love that the imagery is soft & not a stack of bright colours screaming at us with this particular energy of this deck.
Not like (I think it's) the Wisdom of the Buddha deck, which is a cacophony of colours & vibrantly coloured images on the cards that's so overloaded that your eyes don't know what to look at first in each card. Anyway, thank you Natasha for this review. 🙏😈🌙💡🕯💞
I agree. It's very soft. Some days I like to be blasted by color cards but not every day lol.

Gorgeous deck! I almost got it but went with Fey Tarot instead (they both have similar energy in my opinion)
That was in sync - I was so excited but right at the same time that you said it - I was thinking "I don't know about the eyes on these cards". I love Celtic and Fairy decks, but I think there are too many cards with those overly black dead/alien eyes. Bummer. Other than that it's a nicely designed deck. I like the knots and symbolism.
