- Switzerland is a republic divided into districts known as cantons. The first stamps used in Switzerland were issued by the cantons of Zürich, Geneva (1843) and Basel (1845) for their own use. First federal issues came several years later, on April 7, 1850 with the Swiss cross and post horn design. The name on most stamps of Switzerland is 'Helvetia'. This was a practical solution for a country with four official languages: French, Italian, German and Romansch. Some early stamps feature the figure of sitting or standing Helvetia (a personification of the Swiss Confederation). Several early stamps of Switzerland (1854 - 1862) were printed with emerald silk threads embedded into their paper. Granite paper with red or blue cloth fibers added was used on other stamps from 1881 to 1960.
In this video I have briefly discussed 100+ most valuable and some rare stamps of Switzerland. Values mentioned are only for the particular image shown with the text.

Which catalogue are you using Scott, Stanley gibbons, or is this auction prices?
These are auction prices/market values. (Catalogue values are much higher than these and are for the perfect stamps).
You can also use original catalogue from Swiss:
Zumstein.
What's do you mean by double Impression on Number 45? I have the stamp, but how do I know if it's a double Impression are not? GREAT VIDEO 2 BY THE WAY YOU ROCK!!!

Double impression occurs when stamp of the same design is printed twice, with one impression slightly offset from the other. Just watch closely (better is with a magnifying lens), you will see the doubling of outlines of the design and text.

Sir you can sell online at stamp auction sites such as Amazon, eBay, Sandyfayer, Hipstamp, Stampauctionnetwork etc. You can easily search them in Google. Just get registrted and they will guide you through the procedure. You can also sell at stamp shops or stamp exhibitions if these exist in your area.

Those interested to buy will contact you through that site.
