if u do a decat guys! u re gonna loose a few torque some life of ur engine and also loose the correct air fuel mixture which eventually harms the engine..only gain is sound..but there is one way! .. which is to avoid decat process and then change the muffler only .. no losses to ur engine but the sound isn't gonna be loud like a free flow decated exhaust

Very well explained and all knowledge shared here is true. But one point remained to touch: using aftermarket bend pipe, if not perfectly shaped and if due to its design suck back "cold" air from the pipe back to engine when one closest the throttle , then only the engine valve will be damaged and there the question of damaging the engine comes! Thus, the design of the bend pipe needs to be perfect enough to not suck in the less cold air from the pipe back to hot running engine while the throttle is shut for deceleration or decreasing the speed ! Hope that "Myth" is explained and yea: Love From Bangladesh!

Yes, Catalytic Converter is used for controlling pollution emission. Lekin catalytic converter ka design hi esa hota hai ki vo thoda sa sound kam karta hai, Na k barabar . Catalytic converter jaroori hai laga hona engine k baad baad exhaust gas seedha Catalytic converter se ho kar jata hai, so to burnt any unburnt gases in exhaust .
Db is for Decibels( Decibels = Noise measuring unit ) So Db killer sound kam karta hai. Yahi hota hai stock mufflers mien
Jisse avaaj bilkul kam ho jati hai.
After market muffler mien Db killer ka design Sound k hisab se hota hai.

Free flow exhaust lagawaoge to waisa airfiter bhi change karna padata hai or ecu remap karwana padtata hai , piggyback ecu bhi lagawana padata hai , jiss bike me carburetor hai usko tune karna padata hai . Ye sab karoge to fida hai nahi to engine or pressure to pakka ayega ..
