David,Great video. In it you mention trivets. Will heat from hot pots ruin the finish? What about the bases of wet glasses if we used these for coasters? Please advise and thanks!
Unless your pots are over 400°, they should be okay. Most cooking is lower than that when you get it to the table. Wet glasses will not affect the images on sublimation tiles or coasters in any way.
Thanks so much!
Hi Dave, what kind of green pad are you using? Great video!
+Ronnie Larr That's Heat Conductive Green Rubber. Available at conde.com
Hi David,
Which chemical/material you spray on tile before you do press? If I by tiles from Home Depot to do heat transfer my picture to tile, will picture will stay?
Thank you
Danny Nguyen We sell tiles that are coated to receive dye sublimation. They are factory coated, we do not spray them here. Your picture will most likely not work with Home Depot Tiles.
Hi David, is that just a standard kraft paper that you are using for protective paper? Thanks in advance!
Ekko Graphics We use Tarpon Springs Butcher Paper, $12 a roll at Sam's Club.
Ahha! Butcher paper! Thanks.Very cool.
