Why do monks need to ve shaven head when Buddha himself is always shown with hair , all his images, statues, idols are all shown with hair n with bun as well.

its rather fake isn't it.... besides Buddhism, most other religion do not believe each other religion's existence... e.g. go ask any true Christian or Muslim on whether do they condone others...
Buddha did not ask u to believe in his teaching......buddha u to go n find out.....not to find out on other but your true self

Mahayana and Tibetan Buddhism developed more than 600 years and 1000 years respectively after Buddha. so they contain a lot of teachings which deviate from the original teaching of Buddha. Sad to see later practices deteriorate into superstition, relaxation of monks precepts, tantric, mantras etc. This greatly deviate from the cultivation of virtue, deep meditation and insight wisdom found in the original teachings. Cheers.
