Is it just me in being surprised at the speed and skill of that young backline? I dont recall seeing them play like this before. It was very classy. Eels had no answer.

That was the best I've seen Canberra play in a while, and I enjoyed every bit of it. Those tries... their attack was phenomenal 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 And they did it with some of their troops wounded. Terrific performance by the Green Machine. Hopefully they continue playing like that.
Timoko is so strong for a little guy. Great to see the boys playing for the full 80min again. Oh, and what about Rapana. He could lose a leg and still be running around. Unstoppable.

As an eels fan that was disgusting defence, it shows we have absolutely no speed all over the park especially in the backs at all, and raiders played all over us...

Losing Moses is what it is, but that effort was atrocious by Parra. We aren’t making the 8 if we play like this.

You'll never ever see that calibre of players altogether on the field ever again. Add to that the Lazarus, Todd, Wiki, Walters, Crocker, Nagas. Pretty daunting task keeping that lot contained.
The 94 Raiders are the best team I've seen. Every player in their first choice 1-13 played Test or Origin at some stage in their career: Mullins, Nagas, Meninga, Wiki, Nadruku, Daley, Stuart, Pongia, Walters, Lomax, Croker, Furner, Clyde. Lomax missed the GF through suspension and his replacement Paul Osborne had a blinder and I reckon was unlucky not to win the Churchill medal.
man ricki has done a good job with the raiders all those years training and encouraging them is starting to pay off
raiders looking good so far, good bounce back fro last week.... wighton would be kicking himself atm and he wouldve actually really strengthened this current side etc

Canberra played well but My Nan can defend better with her walker then Parra did tonight. As a Parra supporter we ain't making the 8 it seems, one week play incredible, next week play like a NSW cup team. Also what is with the centre's coming so far in field on defence? Raiders scored 4-5 tries because of it, Absolutely disgraceful from Parra tonight.

Top Effort by The Canberra Raiders ! Too quick, too smart, and far too good for a hapless Parramatta Eels on the night. The stats apparently show that Canberra had nearly 60% of the possession of The Football and they certainly made Parramatta pay for it. A real team effort by Canberra but Canberra Players like Xavier Savage, Matthew Timoko, James Schiller,
Ethan Strange, and Jamal Fogarty were really firing on all cylinders. The Parramatta defence was way down right across the board but Parramatta Five-Eight, Blaize Talagi, and Centres
Will Penisini and Bailey Simonsson did struggle against The Canberra Speedsters, even Two
Try-Scoring Big Winger, Maika Sivo, seemed to be lumbering around in defence somewhat.
Parramatta Coach, Brad Arthur, doesn’t seem amenable to it, but personally I would put Dylan Brown back to Five-Eight and bring in Ethan Sanders to Half-Back on the premise that
Ethan will give a good service of The Football to his Five-Eight, Dylan Brown, and Dylan will then dictate the play in attack, but he obviously can’t solve the Defence Problem outside of him. Rugby League is a tough game, very tough, a lot of injuries and a lot of sore bodies, not
easy to back-up the next week, and due to constant media interest and public interest teams can lift on the day or night. But Parramatta will turn up for training this week and they will be out there on the field next weekend, it has always been thus with Parramatta, been doing it
for 77 Years, since 1947.

Nothing new for Eel's fans. Hot n cold from week to week. Leaking massive points when cold, everyone looks like they are in slow motion, especially Gutho. 38 missed tackles for the game, that's astounding for the calibre of players the Eels have. Perhaps many Eels players are overrated. Move Gutho to centre or bench, time to start a new speedy young fullback. Please don't give us the excuse because Moses is not playing.
