- Dear Jackie fans,
Here is another! This is 'Lovers' from 'House of Flying Daggers.' I had never heard this song and so did not know what to think at first. I watched the Kathleen Battle CZcams and WOW. What I mean is I now know what a treasure we all have in Jackie! She knocked it OUT OF THE PARK!
Her performance, her demeanour, her innocence, her voice. She is the perfect gift to the world. If this girl doesn't move you, you're one of the reasons why she's here.
How is this even possible?
I was completely transfixed in the audience.
Everyone who was there is trying to come up with adequate superlatives; but our mere words fall flat.
Seeing Jackie perform is simply a religious experience; indescribable.
Hard to imagine her not winning the "Best New Artist" Grammy over anybody- ever.

I love how after she's done singing, she goes right back into this "little girl" mode. She is gifted beyond anyone we've seen in a long long time. Simply the best! My heart warms when I hear her voice. Thank you God for giving such a beautiful gift to such a beautiful young girl. The world needs a "Jackie" right now.
I've been listening to classical music all my life. Never before and never again, in my lifetime, will I be a witness to such as this incredibly gifted child. No one else can compare. Thank you Evancho family for sharing Jackie with us. And thank you papasmurfdad for posting this video.
I love how she is so intense during the performance and then at the end smiles, waves, and does some sort of half-courtesy in a very relaxed, friendly way.
She always did that at this age. When singing, the perfect pro, then when done, she instantly turns into the cute little girl again. It made her performances all the more astounding.
I attended this concert in February, 2011. I was 72 years old at the time and I count this event as one of the most amazing experiences of my life. I was mesmerized by her voice and the passion with which she sang. By the time Jackie did that little move at 3:57 and said, "whew", I was already on my feet, along with everyone else around me, clapping so hard my hands hurt. I just hope and pray that Jackie will come back to Houston some day.

I was very lucky to attend this concert. She is truly a gifted child. Looking forward to hear her sing for years to come. Amazing talent.
When Jackie sings Lovers, my Yorkie flies around me like a butterfly. Her effect on dogs was documented a long time ago. Seriously, Jackie's Huston Lovers goes down in history.
I was there right up front, you can see the back of my bald head pop up in the lower left corner at 4:23.
This was the very first number at her very first actual concert; it felt like seeing Hendrix for the first time at Monterey, and 4 years later it still feels that way!
One word for this, "WOW!" Such a difficult song to sing but Jackie performed with such mastery and those sustained high notes, again, Wow!
Ok then, I can add “hauntingly beautifully” to my ever growing list of adjectives to describe Miss Jackie’s performances.
How this ten year old girl can sing with the emotion of an adult that has lived a lifetime of experiance is beyond reality. That fact is what makes her not a good singer, but a great one. Most of us have no idea of what she is singing about in most of her songs, but watching her, and listening to her sing, she makes us think we do. There are very few singers in the world today that can match this young girl.
She is mesmerizing to all of America. A true GIFT from God. Seriously !!!
I wonder how many fans who never thought they would appreciate this music style, are now staring at their computers is shear amazement. Men in their 50's and 60's are so in love with this girl's talent. I'm sure alot of grownups are not getting their chores done , because no one can get enough of this young girl. Jackie , as I've said before , "Please take good care of yourself" God Bless you Always !
Is it really almost 5 years since I first watched this? I thank Jackie for those magical 5 years. Never a day goes by that I don't watch or listen to something by Jackie. Little did I know what lay in store for me the first time I gazed on the little girl in the red dress on AGT. No other singer brings out such emotions in me. Spine tingling, tear jerking, head shaking in disbelief, she does it all to me. Bless you Jackie Evancho.
Just when you thought that Jackie Evancho could not possibly get any better, she absolutly blows you away. I pity the poor fools that could even think of disliking this performance. May God have mercy on their souls.

It is astonishing that Jackie at 10y could do a good rendition of KB! (Kathleen Battle) KB is one of Jackies heroes and I bet JME sang along with KB many times "in the mirror" getting closer all the time. This performance left me in shock! My voice went AWOL for a while! Years later, I still have to ration how often I listen to this.

This shows the greatness of this Child Prodigy,she was born with this ,it is just a natural thing for her,it will grow with her to heights never before seen,you are just getting a glimse of her capabilty at a young age .We are so privilged to see it in our time
I have made many positive comments about this young girls singing ability and I can't seem to stop! Everything about this girl is unbelievable. I just shake my head in wonder everytime I look and listen to her, and believe me, like many of you, I can't wait to hear and see anything from her, or for that matter, about her on CZcams.
I've seen this video hundreds of times and each time is like the first. It still brings me to tears and unable to speak. This is truly musical history. To this day as a young teen she still brings me to tears. What an incredible young woman.

Jackie has the most beautiful voice that I've ever heard and seems to be getting even better as time passes. I've listen to and watched every performance that I could find. She not only sings, but performs the music in such a way that she makes you feel it. She really gets into her performances. To me, even better than Charlotte Church or Sara Brightman. You go girl and I'll keep listening

How wonderful....she gives a sigh at the end, a sigh of relief because she nailed it. It was the first time for Jackie signing this song in public. How cute it that? ?And how about that magnificent voice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
PPS - Don't you LOVE that little jump at the end, of joy and relief, as if to say "WHOAA - It worked ... I really did it!!!" :) :) :) And what a tremendous response the audience gave her - wild standing ovation, much like her first AGT appearance!

It's a shame that all her recordings are not on DVD's. Watching her sing is half the enjoyment of it all. The emotion she puts into any song she sings, and her reaction after she sings is priceless. Never have heard, or seen anything like this in my lifetime.
This was Jackies 1st song at Boca Raton it brought the house down,she sang it with greater power then ever,everybody was totally stunned,all 3500 stood on their feet and gave her a loud ovation!!!!!

David Foster said she's the greatest thing he's ever seen in 45 years of the music production industry. That's why he's done so many productions with her. And they are all knockouts. In Boca Raton the entire audience and the orchestra stood for 5 minutes of standing ovation after she performed Nessun Dorma. It's somwhere on youtube. Her concert in Sarasota for PBS is unbelievable. I don't care what training people think she needs she is already a superstar in a matter of months.
Incredible performance. I can't believe how fast Jackie is improving. Her vibrato on high notes is a joy to listen to, unlike some performers. Her low notes are incredible, with depth and emotion. She now has the control of many adult professional singers.
I can't wait to hear her new album, and hopefully see her perform one day. Don't let the accolades go to your head Jackie, but you are pretty awesome :) You have a gift that touches us all.
Thanks for the upload pappasmurf. I attended the Houston Concert and was amazed at her beautiful performance. Replaying these songs of that great concert helps me to further understand and absorb what I saw and heard, I could not absorb this mind boggling performance all at once. When I listen to Jackie sing a song I just want to hear it over and over. The highlight of my days now is to settle down in the evening and watch her sing with that beautiful voice.

How can you accurately describe this..beyond words..this was like an out of body experience.but I know this I bet you won't find another 10 year old with this kind of talent in your lifetime. Jackie sang All I ask of you from Phantom of the Opera.I think it was her greatest song,she was just stunning,the audience gave her a tremendous standing ovation and many had tears she just projected such love and beauty to the audience it was a wonder to behold. at Boca Raton Florida.

She has a phenomenal ear and an ardent student She is clearly a singer and, if someone to care for voice and the deeper understanding that often comes with experiencing life in its fullest, I really look forward to seeing her continue to move audiences. Love all the support I am seeing for her.

Unbelievable! Pitch, tone, emotional content .. leaves me breathless! .. and she is still just developing her full potential!! If you are atheist, Jackie makes it more difficult to believe that angels do not join us for a few short years. Enjoy them while they are here!!
Incredible. SImply incredible. Her voice is so expressive.
This song is so intense, and the passion expressed by Jackie is so profound, that every performance takes my breath away, no matter how many times I've heard it. And it's so difficult to accomplish, to keep in perfect synch with that accompaniment, and with so extreme a range, that this ten-year-old wonder-child shows astonishing fearlessness to open her first major solo concert with that number. Phew!!! :0 :) :) And that VOICE - like a mature angel just descended from heaven!!! :) :) :) No wonder the audience seemed stunned and overwhelmed! PS - Dear Jackie, if and when you actually say to your chosen one "You are my true love!" You'd better have smelling salts ready - He's likely to faint :)

Brilliant!! Simply stunning. I am almost speechless.
The more I look at this video the more fascinating it becomes. Her hand and arm movements along with her facial expression just draw you into the song; especially when she sings "my heart" and brings her hands and arms to her chest . I'm sure her CD will be great but I am afraid you only get half the show without seeing her. I totally agree with a previous poster; they really need to put out some DVDs for the full "Jackie" effect.

Wow! Wow! Wow! That voice is on an express train to high drama, which hopefully is going to be making a comeback. Combining that drama in the low notes with the child soprano high notes is incredible.

someone put it well when they stated that Jackie seems so a part of the music, she is the song and the emotion, that she is mature beyond her years in the moment.. no nerves... when done, she reverts to a little girl who is surprised that she did so well a moment ago .. she transfigures and then returns!! Uncanny and rarely, if ever, seen.

Jackie is a musical genius certainly comparable to Motzart. I think she will take music where it has never been before. I say this because the path of accomplishment she is on takes her there and she will carry us with her. She is the most excitingly beautiful and talented singer I have ever seen.

I've never heard this song either. But it is good to see another song that I otherwise would have missed for not being there. I've noticed in all of these performances, she REALLY uses her hands a lot. I don't know how, but she is becoming even a bigger part of the music she sings. Just watching her now is great, because almost enjoys the song for you!

A Prodigy in our mist, a Mozart of our time. Jackie Evancho's arrival was much needed. Music was going the wrong path and we have to start it from scratch with Jackie.
Her singing a song by Evanesence was good, i don't know where i heard it but her voice can go anywhere she wants. Some of my friends thinks im to absorbed by her songs, but i can't help it. AGT was when i first heard her, so amazing, so Fantabuloso

I love the way she sings this. she is truely a gift from our lord. i have bought every album she has made except the first one. believe it or not, they had 8 songs from her first album on a web site. that you could down load, it was on an mp3 format , i can kick myself in the butt for not doing it then cuz when she did her 2nd apearance on AGT they took it off
