I heard Don the first time on Travis album and didn't know who he was. But when I heard that 2AM song, bass hitting in the car. I was like "WHO TF IS THIS?" Instant fan. Even his unfinished leaks sound good.
Finally listened to Cudi’s album “Entergalactic” and heard him on “Somewhere to Fly.” Looked into Toliver’s work and been listening to nothing but him for the past week. Incredibly talented guy.
M4 hit it on the nose... and it was one the main reasons I fell in love with Don. He's a REFRESHING catalyst to the art of music. His "musicianship, tone, arrangments, and sonics" are one of a kind.

I love that he's gettin his flowers. Donnys music is incredible. The work ethic is what music has been missin for a while. This new generation feeds into bullshit and controversy rather than real artistry. Glad he didn't get lost in that.

You know what's crazy, I've never heard of this young man. I was heading to the gym and went to youtube music to find a new album to listen to. His album popped up and the first song I heard it caught my ear. I said WOW this sounds different and decided to let the album play. I bragged to my friends and said YO I heard a album today that sounds so good man it feels so new. To this day that's the ONLY album I play all day. Low and behold here he is WOW such a great job.

I started this interview and had to pause it 2 minutes in. Because there's no way Joe can be this right about an album. I hardly ever agree with his tastes, but this? This record is phenomenal. I pray it does what it needs to, in injecting new flavor into music. My album of the year so far.

Don Toliver is right. Life of a Don really didn’t get the flowers it deserved. The biggest tracks were the singles (What You Need, Drugs n Hella Melodies) and those weren’t even the best ones! Swangin was one of the best tracks and Double Standards 🔥🔥🔥 so slept on
