If incase inflation is top of the roof , then rbi going increase the repo rate which means the repo rate will be higher it's affected bank interest hence bank should increase their interest rate so people spend more money for interest, it's automatically reduced the amount of money in people's hand. Result the inflation will be decreased.

NDTL is a deposit made by the customer . Among the deposit made the bank used to pay the 4 % to RBI however they can only utilise the remaining 96 % of the deposit of the customer however we can get an interest for whole (100%) amount deposited and if they get bankrupt we can claim in RBI for the funds
