- TDI Advanced Nitrox, TDI Decompression Procedures, TDI Advanced Wreck Class with John Chatterton in Boca Raton Florida. John Chatterton is an amazing instructor whom I highly recommend for training if your thinking of getting into technical diving.
Special thanks to John Chatterton for having such a great class!

Great video.
A bit of history on this wreck. It was formerly known as the Newtown Creek (built in 1968) and was used to transport wastewater for the City of New York. It was removed from service in the mid 2000s and was purchased by the state of Florida with the intent of using her as an artificial wreck.
My father worked for the NYCDEP and set foot on this vessel many times. I too remember seeing this ship docked when I would accompany my dad to work during no school days. He was an avid photographer and I am sure there are a few pics of the N.C. in an old photo album somewhere at home.
I am glad I googled “Lady Luck shipwreck”...had I not this would have been a wreck without any special meaning.
Perhaps I should brush up on my scuba skills and join Mr Chatterton the next time he dives this wreck.
Safe diving everyone.
I did the same course last year. I concur, great class great instructor.
This looks like an amazing dive would love to dive it someday at depth 76 degrees would be awesome coming from Ontario and diving the great lakes
Nice video 👌👍
Chatterton is great :D! Can you put up the dive profile? 5min deco on air @15ft? Or Nitrox?
👍👍
I don’t know how he gets through those doors below decks with balls that size.
What equipment do you use regs tank size wing etc?
At 12.15 is that a statue centre pic or a coincidence of deposits?
Hazel Brooks looked like a statue to me. You can see it a bit better at 16:21
32% nitrox with only a 5 min deco stop @ 15'. huh! , noticed too many divers ascending at the same time. myself would've staggered my stops @ 60, 30, 15 just to clear the traffic jam ahead.
Yes there slow down the shot but bad etiquette towards the wreck, they could see the wreck so come off the line and bypass the slower divers,
Is he skip breathing???
Someone put too much water in the cargo hold
