So pretty. We have a medium sized aviary, about a third of this, but the more I watch the birds the more I want to expand. Both because I am obsessed with them and want more, and also because they are all so sweet they deserve it

This is exactly what I want. Any chance of getting plans... important question. Is it ok to have feeding dish that birds can get into? Did you paint either one of the hardware wire.? Can’t wait to show the hubby....
Never really had plans, just built as i went with the size i had available. If keeping finches (they don’t chew the wire like parrots) i just used a black spray paint for the wire, so much better to see the birds through. Probably not ideal to have the birds in the dish but ive found no matter how small they still get in and kick the seed around. If keeping finches i would definitely have the entire roof enclosed rather than wire. Wind and rain and not a friend of finches. Good luck with your aviary. :)
at 2:45 there is normal canary and red canary 3:13 gouldian finches 3:28 painted finch comes in the corner (red and black one) 3:30 red canary 3:32 ruddy finch 3:55 blue faced parrot finch 4:29 zebra finch male and female 5:20 maybe a king quail or some other quail (little one on the ground) 5:40 cordon bleu 5:50 owl finch and female zebra finch in the background 6:10 red headed parrot finch and 6:28 female hope this helps :)
