아쉽네요...철종역할한 김정현 배우님 연기 너무 잘하셨어요 다른 배우님들도 잘 하셨지만...20화가 애매한데 칼싸움 멋졌어요... 철인왕후가 끝난게 실감이 안나네요ㅠㅠ 김좌근 역할한 김태우 배우님도 악역 역할을 잘 소화해서 드라마는 좋았는데 너무 급하게 끝나서...아쉬워요

I am happy with the ending of Mr. Queen because it did not just settle on an ending that everyone may perceive as generally "happy" and "satisfying." It triggered the viewers' varying perspectives to come out after watching the show. Until the end, it did not fail to add twists and thrill. The balance of comedy and romance was sustained. As we watch every episode, it always makes us want to go back to even the smallest details in the previous scenes to fully understand a certain part of the drama. It does not just explicitly reveal the major themes, and it has been consistent in the way the characters are portrayed. What I appreciate the most is how both Soyong and Bong Hwan found their better selves after the merging of their souls. Not giving enough backstory for Soyong and not allowing Bong Hwan to have a proper goodbye at the ending of the story actually push us to explore more about the story, search for implied meaning or messages from the characters' actions, and realize the major themes. It is a story of finding the self and not giving up in life. There are a lot of insights to gain from Mr. Queen. For a comedy-drama, it does not just offer laughter and entertainment. It also encourages everyone to move forward and accept certain changes that may happen in our lives. Every action has consequences, good or bad. Bong Hwan may not have found his love interest or may not have been the "endgame" of Cheoljong, but being his better self also prepares him for a serious relationship in the future. He was described as a jerk and womanizer at the beginning of the drama, so the life he has in the ending is truly promising. For Soyong, she is now ready to be the best mother for her baby, wife for her husband, and queen for the nation. The ending even shows how Soyong prioritized empowering women and breaking the conventional rules oppressing both women and children. With that, I can see how a great person she is. My favorite will always be Cheoljong's character. I never doubted the sincerity of his love for Soyong and the authenticity of their relationship because his character was consistently introduced as an understanding and thoughtful person. He is willing to accept everything about the person he loves. The flaws are not what lead him to fall in love with Soyong. When he said that he likes her despite her flaws, it only means that he is willing to overlook those flaws and accept her fully. He saw her heart. He opened his heart to her. He found her. He even said in the ending that they were given fleeting moments and now they finally found each other. I believe that the line does not only serve its literal sense here. It is directed to Soyong. He saw that Soyong has always been there right from the start to support him and not to oppose his goals. It just happens that as viewers, most of us loved the craziness of SoBong (merged souls). We were given a lot of bickering moments which we consider Cheoljong falling in love with the weirdness of BH. Those scenes were consistently hilarious and entertaining given that it is a comedy-drama, but knowing very well the character of King Cheoljong, he did not fall in love just because of the fun and thrill vibes his wife radiates. I am confident that he sees the value of things from a deeper perspective, so he will not fall out of love because of the changes of Soyong without BH in her body. I will never forget this line of Cheoljong which made me think that he is truly one of the best male fictional characters in Kdrama: "I don't understand it so I decided to accept that a blessing to others might not be a blessing for you." That is just the essence of true love. It is not all playful and cute moments. It is having someone whom you can rely on in tough situations and whom you can share your happy times with. It doesn't have to be grounded on reasons. There is nothing to be justified about this. Falling in love does not even make sense most of the time. The character of Soyong without the soul of BH will continue to surprise him for sure. I don't think she will ever copy Bong Hwan or pretend to be someone just to satisfy CJ because she has now gained full control of her true self and she values her life. CJ, as consistent and mature as he is, will continue to accept her, especially now that she found her better self. Both of them will have some changes and growth, and the ending shows us how they will face a new chapter as parents. Cheoljong will now have a family of his own. We wish to see more, but it actually makes us imagine what's next instead. I am still curious about the baby of course. How adorable it could be if we saw the baby. That is just how things are. When good things come to an end, we find ourselves asking for more, so contentment is what we must truly learn to have. (This was even mentioned by KJH in his IG live.) The self-growth of Soyong and BH in different timelines, the unconditional love and good leadership of Cheoljong, and the way Mr. Queen emphasizes democracy and justice for people are the essential things we actually need amidst the pandemic. #ThankYouMrQueen for truly shedding light and joy in these dark times. I can clearly see the values you would like to instill in the viewers. You will be one of my comfort Kdramas now. P.S. I LOVE YOU VERY MUCH, #ShinHyeSun and #KimJungHyun!

Really wish we could see them with their prince but yeah, right now, I am praying for at least a movie of Mr. Queen where the story will continue, like who knows? Because of its success, a movie will be possible. Oh! How I wish I just can't get enough of them.

This is the only Drama that I am willing to ever submit a ratings of all the THOUSAND DRAMAS I have already watched that's how much I love it! Super highly recommended to binge watch for. It's my absolute favorite historical Kdrama and the only drama I can tolerate and watch without english subtitles. TVN win me to subscribe to them with this one that's how good this is!

I am happy with the ending of Mr. Queen because it did not just settle on an ending that everyone may perceive as generally "happy" and "satisfying." It triggered the viewers' varying perspectives to come out after watching the show. Until the end, it did not fail to add twists and thrill. The balance of comedy and romance was sustained. As we watch every episode, it always makes us want to go back to even the smallest details in the previous scenes to fully understand a certain part of the drama. It does not just explicitly reveal the major themes, and it has been consistent in the way the characters are portrayed. What I appreciate the most is how both Soyong and Bong Hwan found their better selves after the merging of their souls. Not giving enough backstory for Soyong and not allowing Bong Hwan to have a proper goodbye at the ending of the story actually push us to explore more about the story, search for implied meaning or messages from the characters' actions, and realize the major themes. It is a story of finding the self and not giving up in life. There are a lot of insights to gain from Mr. Queen. For a comedy-drama, it does not just offer laughter and entertainment. It also encourages everyone to move forward and accept certain changes that may happen in our lives. Every action has consequences, good or bad. Bong Hwan may not have found his love interest or may not have been the "endgame" of Cheoljong, but being his better self also prepares him for a serious relationship in the future. He was described as a jerk and womanizer at the beginning of the drama, so the life he has in the ending is truly promising. For Soyong, she is now ready to be the best mother for her baby, wife for her husband, and queen for the nation. The ending even shows how Soyong prioritized empowering women and breaking the conventional rules oppressing both women and children. With that, I can see how a great person she is. My favorite will always be Cheoljong's character. I never doubted the sincerity of his love for Soyong and the authenticity of their relationship because his character was consistently introduced as an understanding and thoughtful person. He is willing to accept everything about the person he loves. The flaws are not what lead him to fall in love with Soyong. When he said that he likes her despite her flaws, it only means that he is willing to overlook those flaws and accept her fully. He saw her heart. He opened his heart to her. He found her. He even said in the ending that they were given fleeting moments and now they finally found each other. I believe that the line does not only serve its literal sense here. It is directed to Soyong. He saw that Soyong has always been there right from the start to support him and not to oppose his goals. It just happens that as viewers, most of us loved the craziness of SoBong (merged souls). We were given a lot of bickering moments which we consider Cheoljong falling in love with the weirdness of BH. Those scenes were consistently hilarious and entertaining given that it is a comedy-drama, but knowing very well the character of King Cheoljong, he did not fall in love just because of the fun and thrill vibes his wife radiates. I am confident that he sees the value of things from a deeper perspective, so he will not fall out of love because of the changes of Soyong without BH in her body. I will never forget this line of Cheoljong which made me think that he is truly one of the best male fictional characters in Kdrama: "I don't understand it so I decided to accept that a blessing to others might not be a blessing for you." That is just the essence of true love. It is not all playful and cute moments. It is having someone whom you can rely on in tough situations and whom you can share your happy times with. It doesn't have to be grounded on reasons. There is nothing to be justified about this. Falling in love does not even make sense most of the time. The character of Soyong without the soul of BH will continue to surprise him for sure. I don't think she will ever copy Bong Hwan or pretend to be someone just to satisfy CJ because she has now gained full control of her true self and she values her life. CJ, as consistent and mature as he is, will continue to accept her, especially now that she found her better self. Both of them will have some changes and growth, and the ending shows us how they will face a new chapter as parents. Cheoljong will now have a family of his own. We wish to see more, but it actually makes us imagine what's next instead. I am still curious about the baby of course. How adorable it could be if we saw the baby. That is just how things are. When good things come to an end, we find ourselves asking for more, so contentment is what we must truly learn to have. (This was even mentioned by KJH in his IG live.) The self-growth of Soyong and BH in different timelines, the unconditional love and good leadership of Cheoljong, and the way Mr. Queen emphasizes democracy and justice for people are the essential things we actually need amidst the pandemic.
#ThankYouMrQueen for truly shedding light and joy in these dark times. I can clearly see the values you would like to instill in the viewers. You will be one of my comfort Kdramas now.

Really wish we could see them with their prince but yeah, right now, I am praying for at least a movie of Mr. Queen where the story will continue, like who knows? Because of its success, a movie will be possible. Oh! How I wish I just can't get enough of them.

This is the only Drama that I am willing to ever submit a ratings of all the THOUSAND DRAMAS I have already watched that's how much I love it! Super highly recommended to binge watch for. It's my absolute favorite historical Kdrama and the only drama I can tolerate and watch without english subtitles. TVN win me to subscribe to them with this one that's how good this is!
