- We are glad to bring to you our first Post-Monsoon trek in the Western Ghats region of the country. The Part - I of the video takes you around the town Igatpuri of Maharashtra. In the peaceful Ambewadi viallge lies one of the challenging section of the Kalsubai range which is called the Alang Madan Kulang (AMK) hills.
The trek provides you with a decent level of climbing experience.

heyy mate, can it be conquered by first timers for rock climbing?
There is nothing to CONQUER
If one has good upper body strength and do not experience vertigo then even first timers could do it easily 🤘
Should I be doing some kind of rock climbing training before I go. I have done Kalsubai, but that vertical rock patch is scary af😅.

I agree. Since I was depending on the local for the climbing equipment the thought of carrying a personal helmet never crossed my mind. Thank you for pointing it out. Safety should be the utmost priority

All bloggers are misguiding you, It is little difficult (only five patches are there) but not KHATARNAK, with safety measures (harness and rope) you can easily do climbing and rappelling. It's beautiful. Go and see yourself. They all are EXAGGERATING. Don't rely on the video, it is wide angle camera effect, actuality is different. U'll like it. Ur experience is what matters - all such videos are creating unnecessary fear - which is a bullshit.
Difficulty is always RELATIVE. What seems 'little difficult' to you can be 'Khatarnak' for somebody else and vice versa. AMK do require guidance and safety should be the utmost priority.
