Filmed in December 2018, Hysteria At The O2 captures Def Leppard celebrating the ground-breaking Hysteria, one of their two diamond-certified 10x platinum albums (the other being Pyromania). Performed in its entirety before a ravenous sold-out crowd, this momentous homecoming event is made all the more powerful as it was their long-awaited debut at the iconic O2 Arena in London. Featuring electrifying performances of “Pour Some Sugar On Me,” “Animal,” “Women,” and “Love Bites,” band members Joe Elliott (vocals), Phil Collen (guitar), Rick “Sav” Savage (bass), Vivian Campbell (guitar), and Rick Allen (drums), conclude the set with a host of extra hits including “Let’s Get Rocked,” “When Love and Hate Collide,” and “Photograph.”
Six months later, just after their induction in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Def Leppard undertook a residency in Las Vegas at Zappos Theatre in Planet Hollywood. Hits Vegas, Live At Planet Hollywood is a 28-song deep dive into not only their greatest hits, but rarities such as “Too Late For Love,” “Billy’s Got A Gun,” and “Slang,” and “Promises.” Highlighting Def Leppard’s versatility, Hits Vegas presents a livewire stage show with two stages and video walls, punctuated with intimate, acoustic renditions of rarely performed songs “Let Me Be The One,” “We Belong,” “Have You Ever Needed Someone So Bad,” and “Two Steps Behind.”
Hits Vegas offers a behind-the-scenes bonus feature, while Hysteria At The O2 is rounded out with the bonus “Hysteria: Then And Now” mini-documentary. As a whole, Def Leppard: London To Vegas encapsulates the prestige of one of rock’s most iconic bands

#DefLeppard #RunRiot #HysteriaAtTheO2 - Hudba
This is one of my favorite songs from the Hysteria album that gets overlooked. Hardly anyone mentions it but I love this song
im with you 100%. The guitar playing in this song is just so damn cool! 3:00 !!!!
It’s my driving song
Best song on the album
I thought Joe said it's his least favorite off the record. What a pity. Great song.
Just saw an interview with Phil on musicradar said him and Joe didn't think the song was finished which lead me here. This was always a favorite from them and the build during the song and solo are amazing/straight 🔥...
“It went a bit too poppy, a bit too happy. The vocal melody was a little too major scale. It should’ve stayed more rock ‘n’ roll, especially with the title. I remember I came back from Paris to do the solo, and I fumbled it and made some mistakes. I used to really cringe when I heard it, but it’s been 25 years now, so I’ve let it go."
I guess everyone is there own worst critic but I love the song and definitely stood out on the album as it's own unique thing 👍
Hysteria isn’t just the best Def Leppard album - it’s one of Rocks greatest albums. Not a single bad song
Same with pyromania and adrenalize
@Ronin Cesar no one cares
💯% agreed 👍
Not one of rocks greatest albums. Its just one of the greatest albums. xD
still
love
the first 3
records more
Everysong song off Hysteria could have been a hit including this one. Thats how good this album was.
@B P yes he says it sounds unfinished and Joe says he hates it yet the song sounds like it could have been a hit single. Again shows how strong the album was from top to bottom
Damn right!!
Its my favorite song on the album
Well, the goal behind Hysteria was to create a rock version of Thriller, after all. ;)
@@OwlEye2010 yes, that's what Mutt Lange thought they could do.
Run Riot is a hell of a challenging song to sing.
Always one of my favorite DL songs. Definitely an underrated gem.
One of my friends grew up in Amerca. The person told me that “Run riot is my favorite song.”.
This damn near brings tears to my eyes, seeing them play to a packed 02 Arena. I remained a fan of Def Leppard even through the 90s when they were playing state fairs. They deserve every single fan in attendance at every show they play. Most triumphant band ever, as far as I’m concerned.
Jeremy Hamrick Queen are more triumphant.
@@newc1531 I guess it’s all a matter of opinion. Queen is incredible, but they didn’t hit quite the amount of roadblocks that Def Leppard did and keep trucking. Queen lost Freddie Mercury, but Lep lost Steve Clark, Rick Allen lost an arm, and Vivian Campbell is now battling cancer and they haven’t missed a beat.
@@guitarguru.3572 And Rick Savage developed Bell's Palsy
Doubt they could fill up Wembley like they used to
This is pretty great in my opinion. Joe can't really get the high parts into a more gritty tone anymore, but this is a HUGE step up from Viva Hysteria and a great performance in general. In addition, I think my favorite thing in this song was always the solos, and seeing Phil play them is always just a joyful experience.
Those guitar riffs are so captivating.....so euphoric
Considering that most of the song involves screaming the lyrics, I can imagine this wasn't an easy track for Joe to perform during both the Vegas residency and this, especially since his voice can't hit that pitch anymore without likely hurting his throat.
But honestly, warts and all, he does his damndest and you can still feel the energy all the same. And the harmonized parts sound genuinely awesome live.
Oh my god!! I’m in this loads!!! I was on the front row. IM SO HAPPPPPYYYYY ! It was the best gig. Cheap Trick then Def Leppard. Amazing!!!
こんなかっこいい楽曲中々ないよ!
one of the greatest hardrock bands of all time still active 👏🏼👏🏼
Phil does the solos? Vivian Cambel does rhythm.???? Phil Collen is the fucking backbone. I love that man.
Well done Joe, this isnt an easy song to sing - great job
He lost it.... he sounds terrible
@@michaeljames1930let’s see you do it then. If you think that’s horrible can’t Imagine what you listen to. Youve never heard of head voice. What a joke
This song is the reason I learned how to play guitar!
Bought the album Hysteria when it come out, leppard still Rocks hard after all these years !
Saw them in Sioux Falls when Journey opened for them. It was a blast!
This version is far better than the one in the live Las Vegas " Viva Hysteria " disc set. Way more energy here. Saw the boys last year near Sacramento. Outstanding show!
That haven't lost a thing over the years.... except Steve. But Vivian does a great job
That November Hard Rock opening show at Toyota Amphitheatre? I was there too. I was pissed at the beginning of the year as they didnt have any tour dates near. So I ended up flying out to vegas for Hits Vegas. Stayed at Hard Rock there (rip). Couple weeks later they announced the show. Was stoked.
A masterpiece!!!!!!! Love it
One of the best songs to run to.
I'm not kidding. Try it.
Still listening after all these years. Great band with staying power that few can match. Just research the ups and downs of this band. Amazing. Also kudos to Mutt Lange the “other member” of the band. He was a huge part of their success. Come back to Canada soon lads....
The first band I ever saw live: summer of 1993. Seven day weekend tour. I was 14. It'll always be sacred
Def leppard is 👑 king
PEAK OF THE PEAK
Amazing harmonies on this great song.
Sooooooooo GOOD!
Definitely Leppard in London 02.
One of the best bands in Rock History \W/
saw these guys same year 2019
in las vegas and blew my brains out!!!
keep
on rocking!!!!!!!
Saw Def Lep 42 times and never heard this live. I’ve read that Joe doesn’t care for the song. He does a damn good job here.
This group rocks rock on
I wish in some near future talent like this would return and get rid of stupid smart phones and social media...
Def Leppard rocks.. Indonesia here🇮🇩🇮🇩🇮🇩🇮🇩
Greatest....rock....band!!!!
I've always loved Joe's falsetto rocker voice, it sounds rad !! This song is a killer track.
I LOVE YOU JOE ELLIOTT!!!! ♥♥
One of my favourite non-singles off Hysteria and a blistering guitar solo! Love it!
One of my fav tunes from Hysteria
Yes ! Tank ' s .......
For this sharing ! Ugs .....
Дуже круто! Def leppard назавжди 🤘🤘🤘
Amazing beyond belief..
i scream and shout!!!
THIS IS ONE OF MY FAVOURITE SONGS FROM HYSTERIA
DEF HISTERIA - H I S T O R Y -a ! BEST BAND FOREVER ! B R A V O !!!
My favorite song on Hysteria! Also like Love & Affection and Gods of War....pretty much the songs that didn't chart or at least as high as the others.
Yeah Love and Affection is one of my favourite Lep songs for sure
Agreed, I am like that with all their stuff. Their newer stuff is great, esp. Slang album.
Love and affection! Best song!
I love this song!!! Adrenaline in my veins!!!!
Amazing band !
I ♥ IT!! ♥♥♥♥♥ I love it love love it!!!!!!! Love this song so much!!!!
Goddamn, I have always fucking loved this song.
Surprised to see them perform the same as the original version. Great Band forever, Def Leppard.

🤟🏼HaiL DEF LEPPARD🤟🏼😀🤘🏼Greetings from KK Sabah,Malaysia🇲🇾🤟🏼🇲🇾🤟🏼
❤❤❤❤
Sounds pretty good for their age.. loved em so much when the action was hot yrs ago ❤😂
I can't help but laugh at how amazingly good they still are for their age. Only if Steve was still here.😔
I really love the live version of this song, I’m not big on the studio version. Eb tuning definitely gives this song more feel and punch. Love it!
For sure. Though I have sorta come to hate their mid eb-e studio tuning they use. Pain in the ass to jam along to.
Best song!
My favourite Def Leppard song
Mi favorita...
,good job , drumerman!
rolota de las mejores en vivo y playback al cesar lo del cesar papaaaaa
10!
Cool
Kick ass. Yep yes sirree eh. This be rock n roll folks, yup.
Sé que no es de las canciones más famosas de la banda, pero es, con diferencia del resto, mi canción favorita de Def Leppard.
Es muy energética la canción y más en el solo , es simplemente brutal e igual una de mis favoritas de def Leppard
One of their best songs. It's so catchy, but it's actually a bit complicated too, not a very straight arrangement in spite of the obvious melodic quality.
There is not a single part of this tune I don't thoroughly enjoy! An absolute pleasure to finally hear it live!
Отлично !
Охеренно, брат)
First concert of the Hysteria tour... I was there.
YHEA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Tremendo Def leppard 🎸🎤🤘🇧🇷 fantástico 🎶
This is fucking gorgeous.
Simplesmente rock, massa.. E dois fãs do sertanejo universitario não gostaram.
I remember when.........🧑
Good vibes . like now
My second comment... and my fith drink... dont worry I'm Canadian... not ... nvr mnd... don't wanna piss off the neighbors... shhh. Anyways.. this is one song that they should have RELEASED !!! Baby this song has punch !!! Open your windows and fukin just crank it and just hit it out if the park... !!!!
* Top !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *
WHF...depois de ver esse batera tocando com um braço só parei de tentar aprender! Já chega pra mim! Flw vlw!@_@
When music actually made you move and feel stuff.....
Why don't they play this in concert more often
All respect to Viv, but God I miss Steve. He wasn't technical but his feel was amazing, the atmosphere he brought has never been replaced. No disrespect to Viv.
Viv is great, but DL died when Steve did.
Is it Rick Savage doing the high pitched vocals on the choruses?
🎧🐆
I love the performance a lot 💯💯but seriously why does Joe sound like Herbert the pervert in this video 🤣🤣
Had they released Run Riot following Rocket (the final single off Hysteria), it would have been a Top 10 hit. They were so big at the time and this song is such a banger. Too bad they chose not to.
Why isn’t there a “SuperLike” tab for this?
Run riot, dont here 2 much of it,not to bad.
Hello
Brits show more into concert than us Americans
Vegas. Run Riot..
If your gonna play it....!!!!
Fine...
Just play it loud !!!!!
Fml and these dam cheap ass beats (my head phones... not leppard)
Never sin against the leppard. The leppard is wise and knows all !!!
Like wow.. I was right with these guys all the way as a fan... and I tell you... these guys still got it and sti kicking... f...ing hard... how ya gonna play it ??? I don't know and care just play this one loud...!
🙀Hey! No one said this was R-Rated! Lul!🙀😹
Rock and roll at its best got the album at 21 years old 57. Now and still rocking 😊
Sounds Like Brian Johnson from ACDC
Is it just me or does Joe's voice sound weird in the beginning?
It sounds strained.
YESSS
Deana Rupe it surely doesn’t sound like the Joe Elliot that I remember !
@Hound19745 Shot is a bit dramatic. He's an old man now. He's not going to sound like a 30 yr old. His voice has lowered with age (like most men). It only seems natural to expect him to find it hard to sing high.
He's not a 20 y/o and after all those yrs of singing your going to wear stuff out. The vocal cords are delicate and have to be warmed up properly and taken of right.
Tcy. J8 big u
At least some decent MIX here, def leppard record live lately with really bad sound mixes
Phil out a shirt on......
It's selfish of him to make us see that for his confortability.
No!! Why!?! Lol
Joe sounds like Bryan Johnson now. His voice has aged.
Stunning observation Jonathan and we thank you for that:Joe is nearly 61 and is still a hell of a singer.
I was think the same Jonathan
These guys have no idea how tough the singing on all Leppard is when you're 30 much less 60+,.Elliot sounds alott better than I expect,.He can still sing,.But this ain't 1986,.His voice should be FRIED
@@johnflanagan9153 He still is. It's impressing how he still has the energy to perform.
@@jonathansolis1276 Ironically, "Run Riot" was rarely played until 2013's "Viva Hysteria;" Save for three or four performance on the 1987/88 Hysteria tour, it was nearly 26 years later the band would take another crack at it; Why? Because according to Joe Elliott himself, it's the most vocally-demanding track on the "Hysteria" album. This is a great version of this underrated track.
Why is crowd so much live than usa
Does Vivian play any leads? he is a FAR better lead player than Phil
Desperate for this bluray.
Sugar…my least favorite song
Joe doesn't like this song lol
Joes lost a lot of vocal power over the years
ChefMovieStudios they were dreadful at Live 8
This is fantastic but obvs soundboard recording
Yeah 40 years of singing plus he had a illness in his throat in 2016 and really hurt his voice
Joe sounds like Axl.... terrible
The band still rocks but lead singer definitely lost his voice it sounds horrible that was painful to listen to. Good God time to retire. I was actually embarrassed for him that's one tremendous ego.
martybgood martybgood you mean Joe Elliott?
To be fair, this is a tough song to sing, even a half-step down from the album version. Plus it's uptempo. It would be like trying to play "She's Too Tough" live.
@@patriciaestok9329 correct I didn't mention Phil Vivian or Rick either sorry if that confused you
@Samí Warrior I would not want to see that Joe is an awesome dude I would not want him to be replaced and of course those guitar players are amazing and will be until their fingers can't move
