    Nothing wrong with synths, every type of music has its place. Dont confuse synths with xfactor nonsense. Anyhoo, this is great.

    Julie is one of those singers who sounds beautiful both on CD AND live. A pity today's trashy pop stars have to rely on synthesizers to sound passable

      What is wrong with tastefully used synthesizers? One could equally complain about singers of traditional music having to rely on bouzoukis or guitars or whistles or flutes or accordeons... It is a matter of taste. I don't think that any one musical instrument is inherently bad (except, of course, for uillean pipes :)
