Had this happen in a dock in Columbus, turned off power for 5 minutes and it started up. Got back to yard and company replaced the whole stalk and it happened again. Did the truck you showed and turned off main power for five minutes. Got it to start.
Also same warnings came out on my Cascadia while batteries haven’t hold the charge as they should so after few attempts to start the truck with jumpstart it kick out same sign. Been towed to dealer and while waiting in line decided to install new batteries and there’s a miracle - truck started with first attempt.
2024 Freightliner don't have that kill switch. Just tried helping a guy, 24000 miles on truck same issue. It eventually resolved itself after he was stuck in door 30 minutes
I unplugged the grey switch in my bunk cabinet and it started up. Plug it back in and I haven't seen the issue since but now I'm throwing a CEL a short time after the incident and I'm wondering if it's related
Don’t know if this might help but I do not have a Killswitch on my 22 what I did do was put the key on the start position for five minutes turned it to the off position and started back up and it took away the stalk switch right errors
7/24 Hey, just used this video yesterday. Pulling those wires worked on clearing the code but it still wouldn't start and the code came back shortly after in my case. I ended up disconnecting/connecting the ground on batteries for a quicker power cycle and that did the trick. The starter activated but it needed a jump at that point which I had with me
Went to turn my truck on today to get going, this code came up I turn the kill switch off for 10-15 mins and it started after that. it did took me Liki 3 times for it to actually Start
@ddtruckdriver My 2019 Freightliner Cascadia truck turns on perfectly fine and drives . The message pops up and off while driving especially when I hit some bumps in the road/ or even when driving it shows up and then after 2 seconds it goes away the error message. Should I be concerned? Any suggestions, greatly appreciate your responses!
I tried this too when this happened and it didn’t work. What I did I have 2 keys the one in ignition was key copied. I took it out of the ignition and put the original key in and it started right up
My truck is brand spanking new and keeps switching into neutral while im driving, mostly around gear 5. It will flash the gears at me and will not go into gear until i stop and switch from drive to neutral and back to drive.
@@scmarine843 adaptive transmission issue, computer needed to be "relearned" it's basically the transmission getting confused and throwing itself to neutral bc it tries to adapt to the way u drive

@@scmarine843 😂 god damn technology. Make sure you tell them to "relearn" the tranny, try to get it to happen with them plugged in on a test drive. I had to go to 3 different shops before it got fixed. It's not a common issue. Good luck!
I'm going through this right now , nothing here is helpful, I believe that I forgot to take it out of nutreal and all the Air leaking out of my system has caused my problems. I left the truck in drive and it leaked all my air out so I can't put it back into netural so now because the truck is leaked almost the air it's not letting me start the truck.
I was stuck in the middle of the freeway and this helped me start up my truck. thanks man you saved me

This worked on a 2016 Freightliner as well, this is wild that this is part of the wiring scheme to block the starter, is switches in the sleeper ...

Just reset you main power. Reset for 5 to 10 mins. Cycle the key 3 time the fourth start .
If it is just a glitch yes that will work, we talk about that in the video. But if it is an actual switch or other error you have to do other steps.

I think you are lucky and it is giving you a warning, yes I definitely think you should get it looked at.

I have same problem my friend it's the starter you have to hit it with hummer it's on the top of the transmission
