Batha'a is an urban baladiyah and the oldest commercial district of Riyadh. It is a historic market and it is famous large population of various migrant workers such as Indian, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Filipino, Sri Lankan, and many more who altogether dominate around 70 percent of the economic activity in the central market.
Many different products are available here such as gold, raw materials, spices, luxurious watches, cellphones, and more.

Thanks for your video of batha. I'm a filipino ocw(now ofw) before.I often go there during fridays. I worked for Saudi Arabian National Guard(under the late King Abdullah Bin Abdullaziz)way back 1987- 1992. Oh,we are there during gulf war. I remember the sirens when scud missiles are coming. We are living inside the vicinity of the military camp in Kashm-al-an thats why patriot missiles are near our villas. And we can see scud missiles coming and when the patriot hit and destroy them.Theres a pain in my heart everytime i'm seeing a video of Saudi Arabia because i know i can not go back there anymore to work. There are lots of good memories. And mostly Saudi people are good and friendly people. Where else can you find people you don't know personally that will give you pepsi and marlboro without hesitation. But we can not measure God's ways. Maybe just a tourist if Allah will allow. More power to King Salman and to the Saudi people!

Saudi Arabia is a very rich country, and that is due to the wise and effective leadership. There are countries that have oil, gas and natural resources and their people are poor and backward, and their biggest ambition is to beg from Western embassies to obtain an immigrant visa to escape from their miserable countries.
Ironically, Persians worshiping Arabian family ( Ahl al-Bayt ) that died 1400 years ago. Your supreme leaders denying their ethnicity and claims to be from Arabian family. No dignity at all.
