@Grouch3682 oh most definitely. I'm partially deaf and I would be turning my hearing aids off at some point 😂 I think thats the lesson that little cooper hasn't understood quite yet is that mom can hear everything all the time and can't turn it off.
@@beth_and_coopI have said it before and I’ll say it again, you are such an amazing mother! The patience you show is truly inspirational. Much love and support from one mommy to another❤️💪✌️
I'm glad it's not just me who struggles with this. My perfect, but exceptionally active, 5 year old is on the go and generally nattering none stop...I forget how beautiful silence is!
You're not alone. I'm Aspie sensory avoidant and our son is AuDHD sensory seeking. I basically live in headphones and sunglasses to try to balance my needs with his. I stumped all the experts (when he was younger) who could only say "minimise the damage to you". 🤷♀️ I'm teaching him "different people like different things and that's ok" (basic Theory of Mind) and use our different fidget toys etc. to show what I mean. Our inclusion team at school is brilliant, and I'm doing my best to give him a good childhood that doesn't shame him for being himself. 💗🌈
yeah, i'm neurodivergent and currently in college for early childhood education... whenever my little cousins go back home after babysitting them and i'm finally able to think again, i sometimes have to question my life choices a little :')
@@enderkai618 I still love working part-time with children, I just wouldn't necessarily recommend having our own kids if we need a lot of recovery time for our own needs. My husband and I tag-team parent a lot to give each other breaks. (We get next to no help from family, and I care for my mum too nowadays). It's all a big juggling act, with good communication skills - and knowing your own patterns - being key.
Ok so I am re-doing my home office and I just got a globe! …. Did not need it but it was white and gold and immediately made me think of coop man so I got it because I think everyone now needs a medium globe 😂
I don't blame you for being overwhelmed. Kids have wayyyy more energy than adults. While he's super cute, there's no shame in needing a break or feeling anger or frustration.
Oh honey. Mom of a hard of hearing kiddo here. I know the “ear-to-shoulder” move so very well. It gets better. Not every day is great, but it’s so much more tolerable. I’m sending you all the hugs, and hopes for some Loops earplugs. ❤
Watching ur vids make my hear melt❤ his voice is so sweet, and I can’t imagine ever having to worry about not being able to hear it. You are so strong Beth!
Beth!! I can SOOOOO relate to this. Our boy has autism. (He’s 18 now and graduating from high school) one of his biggest issues when he was little was sound. Loud sounds and Lucas do not mix. So we would keep noise canceling headphones in our car for things like kid concerts and movie theatres. The more aware I became to making sure he would not get upset by noise the more I became sensitive to loud noises too. However, even though he hated loud noises, this kid is STILL loud. 🤦🏻♀️ Coop is too cute for words.
Because a 3-year-old kid is going to care whether or not you continue driving or not. That threat isn't going to do nothing. Also just a thought, She didn't ask for your advice. If she wanted parenting advice from you or anyone else, she would have asked for it but she didn't so keep it to yourself. Just because she chose to post this on the internet does not mean It's okay to give unsolicited advice.
I'm going to start saying that when I'm all jazzed up and need to get some of it out "this little puppy's going to yell *proceeds to make unnecessary noises*" lmao
Bahahahahh im dying 😂😂😂😂😂 This is so real, and I so can feel your frustration but you are handeling it so well, its so sweet to see❤ the calmness you being even in the middle of the frustration and disobedience. I like how you show the real deal, not just try to ’glorify’ the situation and your child. He is hilarious, but also a child and has things to learn; like obidience, just like every child. And its inspiring to see how you deal with it 🤗❤️ You seem like such a sweet and lovely person - wish I could have got to get to know you IRL! 🤗
Cooper is such a special little boy. How many of us would see a cemetery and say, "What beautiful flowers!" He definitely sees the beauty in life. We could learn a lesson from him. Never lose this ability, sweet boy.❤
Sounds like you need loop ear plugs, the ones that you can adjust the sound. I have ADHD and neuro sensorial hearing loss in one ear. I need a hearing aid but that is on the back burner until I am able to pay off my deductible. Since I have gotten into my 40s I am more sensitive to sounds. I will hopefully be able to get a pair of those in the next few months.
The loop switch They just came out I have the loop engage with the mute plug ins I also have adhd They are life changing I can actually get through more of the day without being overstimulated Amazon sometimes has sales but I don’t think loop has added the switch to Amazon yet because it’s so new
Cooper is hilarious and looks like he is living his best life 😂 and reminds me of the kids I babysit regularly. It reminds me of a 2 year old who also like to scream and I told the 2 year old I was taking care of the other day that we do not need to scream inside the house. She kept doing it and I told her no we don't scream inside, if you want to scream we can go do that outside 😅, especially since she was not in the mood to wake up from her nap that day but also not a reason to be screaming 😂.
We’re in sensory overload mornings here….hoping that it calms down soon. Moving to a new city, a new home with more space is wonderful, but it sure makes for a heck of an adjustment period for everyone.
The irony in him being the LOUDEST deaf child❤🥺 he's adorable! And his speech is incredible for his age and his complications. he is one determined Lil guy! I absolutely love your videos! -love from a mama of 3 from Connecticut
This made me cry so hard today January 1st my grandpa died peacefully from a heart attack in his favorite place with all of his family he was so happy but I still can’t get over his death I’m just 11 years old and this death was the first death of any of my family members in the past eleven years. I hope cooper doesn’t have to deal with any of his family’s deaths or problems. Please if you see this comment pray for my grandpa Rest In Peace grandpa I love you …. I hope you are in heaven right now seeing how much i love you and care for you Bye
He is so stinking cute.. It's hard when you have to be the disciplinarian.. you have the patience of a Saint. Keep on being strong momma! They are only little for so long. My boys are adults now.. and I miss these days!
I know the overwhelming overload! My daughter is ADHD. She was so loud and hyper that I just sometimes couldn’t take it after teaching middle school all day.
When you want him to be quieter start whispering yourself, or talk really soft…. works for most kids, deaf/hearing impaired/etc. I worked 25+ years for cps
I just want to toss in some validation here. Coop is freakin adorable. My three-year-old, who is high intelligence, highly sensitive, and seems to share a lot of ideas and attitudes with Coop, is also freaking adorable. ... In 30 second videos. They are so sweet and precious and funny- and overwhelming. It is okay to love them but also be overloaded, overwhelmed, and over it sometimes. (I say as I hide in a hot bath, missing the hilarious song I hear mine singing while she sits under daddy, as he tries to work in the kitchen.) You seem like an amazing, strong, put together Mama - I'm sure sometimes you don't feel that way. Your kid is turning out fantastic! Thank you for sharing his (and your) journey. 💜
"Maahmmmm..... You stink "😂😂😂 how can anyone not love this cutie pie ❤️❤️❤️

“Pretty flowers….” “They’re headstones.” ❤❤❤❤❤OMGosh I love this child. Cooper, I think I will call them flowers from now on. Gods gift.
@@XxSuicidalNinjaxX there wasn't any reason you had to be rude.
so true, it really is a beautiful concept :D
I like this idea!! We obviously know that he's referring to the flowers sitting with the gravestones... But flowers just sounds so much sweeter! 🥰
“This little puppy is gonna yell!”
Me: 😅😅😂
“He did it agaiinnn!!!”
Me: 💀💀💀💀
Cooper: you stink
her: thank you 🧐😒
That part got me laughing sooooo hard bro😂
“This little puppy’s gonna yell” I mean me too when I’m over stimulated, I feel ya Coop
I think mom was the one overstimulating in this

“This little puppy had to yeelllll” 😂😂
