partner in crime is such a slept on track from the album. damn. i wasn’t immediately receptive to it but it’s grown to be maybe my favorite. it’s such a nuanced topic that i think is a more commonly shared experience among girls than people would assume (especially with the ease of the internet now). nothing’s really made me feel seen in this topic. it was really cool hearing it in a more stripped back setting without the autotune as well.

This is a pretty lackluster demo of the guitar. Can't tell if she's using the acoustic pickup or electric, in the end the guitar sounds very monotonous, much like the songs. IMO Fender missed the mark with this sales video.
