I just started playing deadside a few weeks ago, and heres a few tips I've learned.
1: If your food and hydration are green (in the 90's) you'll gain a small speed boost.
2: you run just as fast with you pistol out as you do with nothing in your hands.
3. If you have 60 water in your canteen, it will add 60 to your hydration (1 for 1)

Best concept for a survival game to me, no zombies wich look a bit more like irl... The little bro of Arma3 Exile mod, needs 2 more years to be perfect 👍

I have moved over to a PvE server my buddies got but that's for achievements then it's to the way the game should be played!!

Been playing on a pve server to get familiar with the game and im really enjoying it. Even clearing AI from compounds to get missions is pretty fun.
Yeah I think I should’ve started off on a pve server. Would’ve helped me learn the game a lot. But nothing like jumping in the ring of fire and learning on the fly lmao
@HIBRYD lol yeah for sure I like pvp for the social aspect but the older I get the more I enjoy pve. I've actually met multiple sociopaths on shooter games and it has gotten me very leary of pvp.
Not to mention the hackers if the game is popular.

@HIBRYD not at all. The people I used to play with for a couple years and considered them friends, I learned both were scamming people online.
I could tell you absolute nightmares that it turned into. So be really careful who you deal with

I did read in one comment section that the devs were not doing well. Seems like all games have dev issues. Ill keep playing until i get bored and ill try arma reforged next

But for the devs it’s always disappointing when there’s a lack of updates and work being done. The game is still fun thought and I may play it some more. But you’re also right about a lot of games lacking lately. Looking forward to new releases this year!
@@HIBRYDthe devs are just adding stuff that is really complex. Like prone or vehicles and reworked base building. That is stuff that takes time and isnt done that easy like a new food item or gun.
@@RustyBear yeah I have no idea how long it takes for all those to be completed. I can only imagine why it would take so long. I’m still enjoying the game but for being out for as long as it has I feel there could be more to it, but at the same time I also think that’s what makes this game fun? Its simplistic design as of now makes it unique

does the safezone have an atm system to store your money? like dayz
The safe zone has its own inventory system so you can store money and items there. The way you access the inventory is by interacting with the traders there. This is the only way I know how to store money

this game is so fun but every server in my region is so deadddd. this game would be up there with DayZ if it still had a large playerbase :(
The server I play is almost always over 30 players. I don’t think I’ve ever seen it dip below that player count.
@@HIBRYD man 30 players is pretty low imo, especially when the max capacity is 60 players AND considering the size of the map. 😭 on the bright side there are NPC’s to scratch that PvP itch but it just isn’t as fun with constant action against other players. i’m so glad DayZ is still extremely relevant.
