Trains at Syston, MML - 10/12/19

Video: A windy afternoon spotting trains at Syston station situated on the Birmingham to Peterborough, Ivanhoe and Midland Main Lines, this features many fast passing and stopping EMR services to/from London St Pancras Intl and Leicester, some passing XC services to/from Birmingham New Street, Cambridge and Stansted Airport, as well as many freight moves (incl. the delivery of TfL Rail/Crossrail 345070 previously stored at the Old Dalby test track).
Syston station might be one of the only bi-directional operated stations remaining on a core main line, as Dunbar station on the East Coast Main Line now has two platforms for north & southbound traffic.
Some additional footage is included at the start from Leicester.

CrossCountry Class 170 Turbostars, East Midlands Railway (EMR) Class 43 HSTs & Class 156 Super Sprinter & Class 158 Express Sprinter & Class 222 Meridians, GBRf Class 66s (incl. Cemex livery 66780), and Rail Operations Group / Europhoenix Class 37 with TfL Rail/Crossrail Class 345 Aventra (345070).
