OMG! I know that there are other categories taken into consideration when choosing a winner, but by FAAAAAAR this dude is one of the best vocalist that ever sang on American Idol!

He has alot of vocal potential. He has range, and he has a nice tone to his voice. But the judges are right, hes trying so hard to prove something that hes not connecting with himself when he sings. He needs to learn to actually control his voice rather than let it run where ever its gonna go. If he does that he could be a really big deal
I really think the producers know who they want in the final 5 before they even go to America's votes. The hardest part, probably, is picking commercial looking people to place around them... people that look good on tv who sound bad enough to kick off. I'm not going to say that America's votes don't count, but I do think if America doesn't get it right, then the producers step in and pick who THEY want as American Idol. The show is political but I still love watching it. Very entertaining!

What ruined his chance most I believe was Simon. When Simon makes a comment like that about someone's performance, the viewers rethink every bad thing about them/their performance
There were some pitch issues but not enough to say that it wasn't a good performance. He is the most creative singer on the show and the judges know that. They're just trying to convince the not so musically inclined Americans that he's not all that great. I think Jermaine may have rubbed someone the wrong way, the reason why the judges are obviously being unfair with their negative comments. What's really fair, is voting for the best singer. Stop hating and do your jobs, judges!

The judges are on crack this year. Charity Vance didn't even make the final 12 of the girls. WHAT THE FUCK! They must have pulled her aside and gave her a record deal before someone else snatched her up. That's the only thing that makes since to me. Randy and Simon are Pretty dead on with their critiques, so how does she not make it in the final 12? Half of the girls they picked shouldn't even be there.
The same thing they telling him in American Idol is the same thing they told him on Sunday Best..... Just sing maine cause you def. have a voice and we wanna here you sang!!

Not taking anything away form what you believe in, but not every viewer slash voter believes in anything. I totally disagree with any statements made by panelists/judges about a young singer performing an old song. Anyone who understands music at all should know that a song is forever young, especially to new ears hearing it for the first time. Critique his voice and his performance errors, but please don't limit our young music lovers to just the latest music. True music lovers study all music, old and new.

I understand that he is his own image but that's not the case for American Idol. It is a biased show so you have to be careful and make sure you cheat. During his first audition you cannot tell whom his style is because he didn't expose it too much. One of the best male vocalists had to take the boot on some biased bullshit.
The big ability is called being a CHURCH SINGER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thats what church singers do suga. You push for what u want even if it means to lay it on the plate

"Get Here" is a beautiful song and he has a nice voice. But...he just butchered the song. It is almost unrecognizable. What a shame. He should have stayed with the melody instead of improvising so much. Simon is absolutely right. This competition is over but he blewit.
He got eliminated for nothing. He was the best, to good for the show anyway. The judges didn't understand his kind of singing which made America believe he wasn't good. He'll get a record deal. But I'm done watching this crappy show!

I really think the producers know who they want in the final 5 before they even go to America's votes.
