Great review. I've got one and found the same problem with condensation as the first layer of the tent is waterproof and not breathable. I now leave all windows open at the top and have a fan which I have yet to try out. Tents are meant to keep you dry not warm so ventilation needed, just a bit more for this one. Its big advantage is weight 37.5kg which is lightest on the market which is achieved by having an aluminium frame base and not solid which means the mattress is sealed in an has no condensation from the base unlike others with solid bases. It is identical design to the Wild Land roof tent and very similar to a Roof Nest version all trying to reduce weight. If used with open windos probably ok but there are better breathable roof tent out there like Ventura but Tent Box much more expensiive. Also it is only 1100 wide so very tight for 2 really just comfy for 1. Tentbox and Ventura are about 1300 wide. Thanks great review

Thanks for your video review John it's good to get understanding before you buy. Maybe I just wait until the next Better and breathable one that comes out hopefully in time. I herd someone says in the comments. The tent is waterproof and not breathable, and that's causing a lot of condensation Think that they would test all these things and see and try it. Amend these things by maybe changing the material to a waterproof breathable top layer.
I may consider purchasing. A more expensive tent box. Now that I've heard this report. Who wants to be sleeping in a smiley tent box, full of condensation shocking news That they can't make a waterproof. And breathable Vents are Made into the design. just like other tents in the market They obviously knew this, but. They obviously knew these flaws but didn't Bother too make. the design Yeah, the top waterproof. Should have vents. Yeah, into the design, it's really easy to do. All tents are designed that way in the first place. Especially at that price as well, it's over 800 pounds.

i have bought one a few months ago but yet to try it out a little tip the securing brackets to the roof bars can easily be undone i put locking nuts on as well as the nuts provided this makes it more secure against theft i might look at putting an extension tarp over the front entrance as i can see getting in and out in the rain could let water in i will keep you posted good review

Great review..Im buying one of these..you absolutely need to crack the windows and maintain ventilation and air flow. This a fundamnetsl in any camping situation. I have a bell tent and.i both wild cam and car camp . i always crack windows in my car, in my FTT and have my vents open accordingly..ive also a roof top tent ands ive alwyas opened the windows up there by an inch or 2.. as a previous comment.. a fan would help to keep air moving.. but the main thing is..open the windows..it will keep air flow..and create less disparity of outside /inside temps. which is the cause of the condensation.

Out of curiosity, could you retrofit vents in the roof? The roof looks to be a “second skin” over the tent? Looking at getting one myself. I use a bivvy when I go fishing and tbh you get the condensation in them too depending on the weather.

889 sounds even more overpriced now with the problems.
Bad design for security resulting in easy to steal the roof tent.
No ventilation at all unless you Com promise the waterproofness
    Overly struggles with condensation
    Flaps loudly in the wind.
The shape on the roof causes massive drag and increases fuel consumption
There is very serious porch issue. Getting inside wet is not an option.
We are not bothered about the pro,s. Only the cons matter and determine if its worth buying.
I wouldn't buy at that price.
