I discovered a trick that changed the game...
'Shoe Gear Brown Scuff Cover Shoe Polish '.
Five minutes carefully applying this to the coat after it dries makes this coat extremely movie accurate.
Much better looking than anything else I've seen.
Once it dries it looks the perfect color and weathered.

I loved Tom Hardy's bane design and the clothes he wore and the mask it had a nice realistic, menacing look to it!

The sad part is that coat material is actually a lot more movie accurate . A simple repaint is needed but once that’s done this to me is probably the best Bane out there by far

I had this guy a few weeks back and fell apart the second I took it out of the box, both wrists were snapped and the legs came completely off the body, if any one is looking for a great bane I would highly recommend the S.king.S kit on the Phicen m35.

The movie was clever on how they filmed Hardy. Making him look bigger then he was. At times making it seem like he toward over Batman. Using loose clothing to make him seem even bigger. Adding more torso padding as well. But he was shorter than Bale. Though you could argue that's sorta the idea. In the 2nd fight, Bane and Batman seem more equal in size. The fight is no longer one sided.

The S.King.S kit with the m35 body is the best bane. I agree with most of your reviews, but this one… I couldn’t. The realism in the SKS kit was so much better. The body fits the vest perfectly, snug, like the movie.
This one seems like a more lanky Hardy with very broad shoulders.

Thanks Aaron although check references images for bane, this body is far more accurate, Tom Hardy was nowhere near M35 size

Love a Bane prequel spin off - he’s a cool character but they need to go back to pre Venom - he’s supposed to be smart and cunning - using the electric and technology space - mercenary tactics and secret networks. Not just a muscled thug - amazing doll though in have the Wall St one

I just received this like 2 months ago. To be honest, when I saw his leather coat, I wanted to return it like immediately, but I didn't want to wait so long to send it back to China. But then I found that when you take off his leather coat, it still has many details that I like very much, especially the head sculpture. I think it's better than the HT, although it's not a fair comparison because the HT version represents the high standard of a few years ago.

I'd hazard a guess that if we waxed the coat (like with leather work boots), the colour can be darkened significantly and look more like what we see in the movie. In addition to having another layer of protection on the coat of course.

My first reaction when receiving this figure was the jacket is far too light and not leather, but on watching the film again I realised that Banes jacket isn’t a dark brown leather ( like the Hot Toys) it’s more of a dirty suede. M Toys have went for that suede look, now that being said it’s still a little light and requires a slight modification. If done right it will be spot on. Hot Toys have went for a dark leather look and its what I think most incorrectly think that Banes jacket should look like.

got mine from giantoy, and about a month later i received some leather oil from them in the mail, havent used it yet but plan to try it out sometime.

I love this figure, and I do prefer this one to the hot toys one. But seeing it next to the Dx19 is a bit disappointing, if you go back to the movie Tom Hardy’s bane was shorter than Batman, I know most ppl don’t realize that but it’s true. Most not I my in the fight in the snow.

The seller I bought my figure from sent me a small vial of paint from the manufacturer to darken the coat. But I'll still buy a leather jacket from a reseller for that more authentic look🤷♀
@@somersfamily I should clarify that it's a stain and not paint. And, no, I am not going to spend $20 or however much it is, to send back spilled stain just be spiteful. (Is that something you do...🤨)
I'll just buy the extra coat. There are scenes where he is wearing it over the harness. And that's it!

Just rewatched the dark knight rises a few days ago and this figure is definitely inaccurate especially the head sculpt, I like the hot toys one far better.
It’s amazing how people see things do different. I watched the dark knight the day I got this figure and thought it was miles better than the hot toys.

The coat is not a problem.just dye it with brown cream shoe and let it dry ..that's it.

Hey Justin. Great review as always. Was your copy of the figure anything different from a regular production piece? I recieved mine today from SugoToys, and like someone else commented, both wrists snapped right of the box. This is just a bit annoying, but more importantly, mine doesn"t use the same body as yours. It doesn't have the scar in the back of the neck, and feels cheaper somehow, also the neck connector is really weird, looks like it was made assembling different parts with a lot of glue. The tactical vest seems a bit different too. I juste messaged them about it and we'll see how it goes.
Oh no! I always heat up the hands before changing them on 3P figs as they can break easily! Mine is a production figure so it should be the same as yours. I had the glue in the neck connector, I removed the glue and it sat lower looking way better!
@@JustinsCollection Thanks for the reply! I'm not too mad about the wrist pegs, I have a lot of spares, but they seemed almost broken already when I opened the figure. Still got a different body though, without the scar in the neck. Plus a few other differences. Feels weird overall.
