I have been going to rock concerts for 40 years and I have never seen a band connect with an audience like The Warning! As for them being signed, it is a great thing for the band! Now they have the backing they need to accomplish their dreams!
This was the first single released under their new record label, LAVA Records. They rejected several previous offers and spent several months negotiating with Lava to make sure they would retain creative control over their music. Overall, I think they have more opportunities being signed to a label, than being independent.

They were in negations for 7 months, which is unusual for a signing but there were certain things the girls, their dad, and their manager would not budge on, such as keeping control of their Patreon platform. They would not have signed if they had to compromise themselves or their music. Actually, Jason Flom's basic philosophy is "if the artist is 99% correct, then leave them alone", so it is a good fit for them. They passed up many offers when they were younger because the labels wanted them to conform to what the label wanted so they remained independent and produced their first 2 studio albums and an EP, "Escape the Mind" (released in 2015 when they were 10, 13, 15) on their own. Not that it is noticeable but when they were shooting this Ale actually had problems with vertigo; she was recovering from having wisdom teeth removed, something they mentioned during a Spanish language interview. I wouldn't have guessed it. Their deal with Lava Records has opened a lot of doors for them as far as giving them more opportunities to do things like this video. The ladies still have to do the work but they have been getting more air time and wider distribution into things like the Marvel Midnight Games and Fox Sports. As for the instruments, Pau pretty much uses DW drums even though they don't sponsor her but Sabian Cymbals does. Ale is sponsored by both Spector Bass and Orange Amps while Dany has Orange Amps and several guitar companies as sponsors, most recently PRS like the one in this video. A lot of their older stuff was with rental drum kits if they were very far from home though Dany and Ale could normally carry their instruments and Pau would usually bring her pedals and drum sticks but now they are better able to have their own equipment with them. Especially when touring I'm sure that is much nicer for them. Since they did over 100 shows last year across 5 countries they have learned more about transporting and setting up their gear. Especially the time they spent with Halestorm was a great opportunity to learn from a major touring band how to get the instruments safely from venue to venue, how to really prep their tour bus and the tricks to set up and tear down when going from venue to venue. Last year was Halestorm's 25th year doing tours and I know Paulina pays attention to things like that plus their own core stage hands that travel with them. I don't know that they will try a northern country in the winter again but their touring in November with Three Days Grace gave them and their core group some experience with packing and traveling in cold temperatures with snow. All three ladies have commented on how rough the cold weather was for them and said that August would be better for some place like Canada. If they do much touring in Europe hopefully they will remember that in places like Sweden and Finland.
If you are asking whether I'm glad they signed with Lava, I went through two phases. I had heard so many horror stories about the "evil music industry " that at first I was very dismayed. But since then I have become happy with it. TW spent a long time negotiating for what they wanted, and got artistic control over their music. Then they recorded this fantastic album. Then I highly suspect that the record label has done some behind the scenes, maybe even under-the-table deals to get them the opening gigs for very high profile bands. So now I'm very happy with it.

I saw them last July with Hailstorm, The Pretty Reckless and Lilith Czar. Awesome live. The best way to see and hear them in my opinion.
