Simon’s expressions over Danny calling Jenas a “super smart” and “deep thinker” 🤣
As much a ''super smart'' & a ''deep thinker'' as my beautiful little cat....
it's on par with his reaction to when somebody on the show said the manager Rooney is "a student of the game"
He was stumped when Danny queried his 97% bullshit. Even Simon thought 🤔 ‘actually that does sound made up’
HAHAHHAA that was brilliant 😂
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Imagine Simon saying every criticism should be constructive.
Jim is such a windup merchant 😂
Thank you I can’t stand the creep
I like his facial expressions🤣🤣🤣
Jordan’s cheerleader
Jenas's football commentaries have personally ruined more matches for me than any amount of referee decisions.
Welcome to a world where criticism is a crime
So is honesty.
Is it a crime to criticise Jenas' criticism?
@@Support-your-local-teamcriticising the criticism is fine. If you are prepared to grovel and apologise when one random person doesn’t like it.
Agree sir world has gone mad
If there was ever time to walk the planet with four heads , six legs 60 fingers ,
Nows the time where we can't even have a slight glance
While the government and people in charge in general commit crimes and nothing gets said or done 😅
Give the guy a break he’s not wrong. The refs are forever getting decisions wrong even with the help of VAR
Then don't take the job in the campaign
Then say the guy is a poor ref but dont call him a swear word. It's a bloody difficult job.
Fairy’s will tell you, they get more rights than wrong, but I bet you they are done with the offside rule which is a factual situations
👍🏾
@@osr4152 Difficult job? Get back to your toys and don't touch daddy's computer again.
You know you’ve hit the pits when people have to constantly apologise for their obvious opinion
Simon’s eyebrows at “super smart” and “deep thinker” soooo funny
Remember when Simon “constructively criticised” Eddie Hearn about something that Simon made up and then refused to admit it.
😂😂😂😂 I remember that
Pepperidge farm remembers
Why is it when Simon interacts with Danny he talks like a 1940s Headmaster grilling a naughty year 7 lad 😂
Dear GOD could you guys give Danny the time of day to get his point across. Bloody hell man
Waffles
Simon absolutely batters everyone on here he becomes very personal on hundreds of occasions and for him to criticise pundits is laughable.
- agreed.....it gets a bit grating at times and sounds like a continuous whine. He needs to wind it in a bit......Danny here is making some valid points.......
@@neilgoodyer9606he also owned a club 🙄😂
Has Simon slept with your husband again, Gavin?! 🙄
@@paulmanchip8116to be fair to him, completely self-made and OWNED his boyhood club. Also knows his own mind and does not tolerate bullsh*t. Also not a fan of the feelings over facts perspective that a lot of 'men' seem subscribe to.
Seems like a sound bloke to me.
simon hilarious if you sent him a happy birthday card he would find it offensive
I actually like Danny Murphy more and more with each appearance on this show.
And…
He's well out of his depth. Murphy has nothing to bring to the table.
@@AlaninValleSanLorenzopersonally I think he’s pretty bang on about most things they talk about, Jim and Simon can’t argue with the person across the table it’s the always the players, agents, managers, entitled fans or ppl these days.
What are you on !! He is permanently deluded 😂😂
@@AlaninValleSanLorenzo out of his depth go suck! Man played at the highest level. What qualifies these two pundits? Long words and sleaze from the wind up merchant to his left
The more I watch of this show, the more I like Danny Murphy. You two desperately ganging up on him and he usually comes out looking classier and better.
He comes across well here.
He holds his own and Jim is just a back up dancer for Simon.
"Sniveling self serving sudo apology"....absolutely bang on. Jenas has been made to look very very silly. Simon just sticking the blade in a little further
“Sudo”
Psue, psue psuedio!
Pseudo.
I completely agree with Danny saying about the 97 percent success rate, who decides it’s a successful decision?
Jin and Simon are talking as if they've never said anything bad about the refs.😂
Murphy had some good one liners in this, actually made me laugh. Fair play
Must be the only segment where Simon has not tried to “square that circle”…..well played Danny lad.
Simon is so bitter when it comes to footballers
We can all see way JJ refused to be interviewed by Simon or Jimbo with tough questions for him. Unlike Goldstein & Bent in yesterday Drive show with only a minute debate.
It wasn’t even a debate. It was a couple of golfing mates having a laugh and brushing it all aside.
Probably the best decision, he’d be better not “ going viral” with Simon Jordan and try to silence it asap
@@alexbelotti1603 The best decision for his PR, yes.
Jenas would fold under Simons intelligence like a melted mars bar
I think Danny owned it. Well played mate, keep calm and don’t let Simon fluster you with his Thesaurus. He was lost for words at times and was plucking feathers.
Here just to watch Simon's facial expressions during this. The guy can't hide his thoughts 🤣🤣
Same..radio hides so much 😂
Simon Jordan is morphing into Darren Farley's impersonation of him.
So stopping a goal bound shot is not a handball offence leading to a penalty because it wasn't deliberate? Make it make sense. It was a clear hand-ball and I don't see why there's any debate on it.
Not if it deflects off another part of your body
Nothing you can do if the ball is blocked by your leg and deflects to your hand, you cant do anything about that
It wasnt a pen
For me it’s the proximity. What is Romero to do at that pace of the ball that close to his body? I’m surprised he didn’t raise his hands to his face, I know I would have cause it was blasted.
Every season FIFA and UEFA update the rules of the game. Every season all they achieve is to over complicate the rules. Danny Murphy is right, simplify the rules by taking subjectivity out of it! Make all decisions black or white. If the ball touches the hand then it is hand ball, no room for interpretation! The fact the referee does not have to explain his decisions is compounding the issue. The entire VAR process audio should be broadcast live in real time!
Then you will have players deliberately playing the ball against a defender's hand - similar to the way they kick the ball out for a corner/throw in and they play it off the opposition player. It's called the law of unintended consequences.
Also there would be incidents where it would be questionable (IE subjective)whether it hit the hand ... was it the wrist, did more of the ball hit the hand than the arm ... you'll always have some subjectivity.
Simon lost this argument for a change
Danny is getting better I can't lie
when talking about referees he always loses
@@ThatGuy-tx4vm 'he' is Simon or Danny, please?
@@forearthbelow simon
“You called them thick so you can pipe down” 😂😂
So Jenas is not allowed criticise referees??? Crazy
Jim is such an instigator 😂😂😂
Danny Murphy is spot on
First win for Danny in this long *Simon v Danny: The Pundit Wars* series.
And a proper win.
Simon is being absolutely ridiculous.
Last couple of weeks have been filled with shocking decisions & mainly INCONSISTENT decisions.
"A snivelling, self-serving, sudo apology", love it.
Jim is far up the PGMOL’s backside it’s unreal. Whenever subjectivity or Danny brings up a point of consistency, he cuts him off and does not let him explain. Bloke says the handball rule is easy, and then says it’s up to interpretation, to which everyone’s is different
Simon has bias against anyone on bbc. He was the same over the top with Liniker. But talk about Bohley or Levy, then he is all excuses
The same way players get criticised by pundits, referees should be open to the same criticisms!
You've totally missed the entire point if you think anyone disagrees with you. Not a single person saying pundits can't criticise referees. Calling someone a shithouse is not criticism. When was the last time you heard a pundit calling a player a shithouse.
@@wattersdr everyone knows that is out of order. That is not the point I'm making! The general consensus of criticism of referees! Seems that we have to be seen to be helping them than criticise their glaring errors! Regarding Jenas specifically, it was wrong what he said, but we can't all sit here and say we don't agree!
We don't expect refs to get it write every time.. but we expect them to spot the howlers every one else across the nation spots every week🤷♂
'Write' instead of 'right' is a bigger howler than any refereeing decision
@@deanpartridge5893that’s funny, u beat me to it 🤣
Why do they bother doing these segments? Just 10 minutes of Simon and Jim talking over Danny as per usual.
Simon, true narcissist in the very sense of the word.
The fact that his eyebrows raised when JJ was described as a deep thinker tells you all that you need to know.
In his mind no one can possibly be considered intelligent because that detracts from his overinflated view of himself.
Danny destroying simon😂
He’s absolutely right that the handball rule is too complicated and simultaneously vague. If a player is trying to use their hand, or if their hand is in a position that it shouldn’t be, based on basic human physiology of balancing. Everyone knows where a players hand should be when their running, sliding, falling, etc, and we get to watch it in super slow motion from 10 different angles. If their arm is in a place it shouldn’t be, or if the player tries to use their hand, it’s handball. That simple lol
I expect every call to be right with the ability to watch the replay over and over
8:15 78 cameras run by 150 people in control rooms for sky. VAR officials there’s 3 of them rushing to find the right angle. VAR officials need to focus on rules and media professionals need to work with them operating the equipment
If it was at the other end Jenas would have been screaming for handball and a penalty
Danny, watch some of the Rugby World Cup. Then let’s have this conversation.
They always make the thumbnails look like they are going at it hammer and tong and it’s always either heated or a clash.
Maybe the referees parents should come out and defend them 🤣
What did he say and do
Simon ‘exception to the rule’ Jordan
Well said Danny
The refs are crap in England. And the VAR are worse. How can VAR make worse decisions than the refs?
Not a single English referee was invited to the last World Cup. That tells you all you need to know.
Sir Simon = Top LAD Proper Clobber 💯 Facts
Wrong
Simon is the best thing about Talksport without a doubt, but he’s wrong frequently and can be a hypocrite
It's jumpers for goal posts and propostoures
I personally think the problem is that there is no perfect science for handballs in the penalty area.
There is, generally, a result to a handball that “feels” right. What we want is for the referee to come to the decision that “feels” right, rather than have a binary ‘is / isn’t’.
It's generally not the Ref of the game that fans get exasperated over, but the ones who are paid to review the VAR Decisions & consistently make extremely incorrect ones to the point that Millions of people watching disagree with them, not just the fans who are wronged.
Furthermore, they're inconsistent and for the exact same incident playing out in the same League, sometimes a couple weeks apart, often on the same day & more often than it should in the same game & being given as 2 different decisions after reviewing it on VAR is bordering on cheating, nevermind incapability.
VAR was brought in to help referees get the correct decisions, and being used properly it does, however it's severely MIS-USED and there are simple ways to stop this mis-use and also communicate to fans what the decisions are and why.
There are also several ways that consistency can be added to VAR Decisions. One way I believe VAR could be improved is with a rule-knowledgeable panel that vote on decisions, but many decisions could be made to improve it and to stop riling fans up.
"JJ to you Danny" 😂 Love Jim sometimes.
Usually agree with Simon, not on this occasion however, Danny was spot on
I for one am glad that the FA and the Prem are employing the visually impaired. No idea how those fellas get to the grounds and make it home after matchday, but, well, good on them for being resourceful.
Love Simon and how honest he is however, recently I think he's been listening to his own hype too much and seems to think he must create some sort of argument for arguments sake
he isn't honest. He is paid off to support referees no matter what
@@ThatGuy-tx4vm possibly
@@rfurms this is what they did in italy during calciopoli. Media supporting refs that made dubious decisions. Later on those refs were found out to be taking direct orders on who to help or not.
What a rough watch, Just speaking over him when hes providing a perfectly reasonable well thought out opinion
Ugly thumbnails of Jordan are gold. Keep em coming he’ll hate it 😂
As soon as Murphy said “JJ” I stop listening to what he was saying.
He was laughing before the 'apology' though...
Simon not letting someone speak , shock
What does “our game” really mean? Souness uses that phrase quite a lot.
Simon & Jim should give Danny more chance to speak. This show has been brilliant, comedy gold ! 😂.
This!
Handball needs to just be handball - if it hits your hand it hits your hand. In all decisions, subjectivity needs removing, intent needs removing.
What’s that got to do with the price of cheese
Jenas thought it so he said it..
Change the title as you always put they CLASH 😂 we plan to watch the video anyway so don’t worry about click bait
Thats rich coming from simon. Didnt he say maguire turns like an ocean liner.
They always do Simon wrong in the thumbnails 😂😂
Jim are you all there ?😢
Sneaky can be VAR job or / and missed 6:20
Jim looking to Simon for help 😂
Jermaine Jenas made the apology but didn't delete the offending post that says it all. I preferred the game before the introduction of VAR, yes refs made mistakes but as Simon was eluding to most of the time the ref gets the calls right. Just like everyone else there are days where we just cannot do anything right no matter how hard we try. Fortunately, a season is determined over 30+ games and not in individual moments. What has changed over the decades is people attitudes and the players. Could you imagine players back in the 80's falling over feigning injury to get an opponent sent off or booked, players winding down the clock by running the ball into the corner and sitting on the ball. Players are quick to jump all over the refs for making errors, but they are the reason for VAR. Players need to take a long hard look at themselves and the attitude and stop cheating, stop rolling on the ground like your leg has been cut off and man the F**K up. Stop attacking like a two-year-old who believes someone has stolen your favorite toy. It is good to see refs clamping down on time wasting and I really hope the next thing is punishing players for feigning injury or diving, I would punish both with an immediate red.
Simon you got slapped here xD
Why do the referees not have the balls to disagree with a VAR directive once they have consulted the monitor if they feel the VAR direction is actually wrong? They agree every time. Why? Is it because they don't want to upset their mate(s) operating VAR?
Pundits should be able to view their own opinions rightly or wrongly we don’t need to agree with them …
VAR is joke simple should get football players 1 fullback and 1 Forward Also 1 referee to look at screens and different angles
Got what wrong? Openly criticised bad decisions or he should have stayed impartial as a pundit or public figure?
Agree with Danny the stats are only good for the refs the stranded of referring in the uk is shocking not just in the man’s game but also in the referring in the women’s game their need help make the rules simple with hand balls and offsides . Also it doesn’t help the new referees that someone like Mike dean says I didn’t give the right call because of a friend in the Liverpool v Chelsea match . Personally I get international referees to come over especially Italian referees to the EPL cause their let the game flow and take no rubbish from players . But the bottom line is referees do need help especially at grass roots .
Choose his words ...does he still think the Dambusters are Infamous ?
Says Simon who never criticised anybody before.
Tell him Simon
Talksport always tries to make Simon look bad with the thumbnail
I saw the thumbnail and thought…UNAGI
Simon said Jaden Sancho should apologise and move on , what's the difference here ?
We need AI to referee, then we can all happily express our rage against the machine
Simon is always respectful and an analyst of renown,Danny should pay attention more to the honourable Simon.😑
All i see is Mr.Danny schooling two Dinosaur🤣🤣🤣
If you can’t get away with saying shithouse then we are all fucked. 😆
And they allow a referee and a VAR operator to have separate opinions. And the ones to come over and look at; our always seemed VAR has made their mind up, they’re just playing lipservive
Don’t need referees for friendly games by the way
Please tell me I did not just hear jim white say "does there need to be an attitude change by pundits because like never before the referees are doing a damn good job" please tell me I misheard that! 😭🤣 Jim has got too be trolling.
If the officials were respected then we wouldn't have had VAR in the first place....
People didnt like it when it was "The Referee's decision is final"... Hence why they brought in VAR 🤷🏾♂️
I always feel Jim is constantly trying to undermine Danny with snarkey comments.
Simon is accountable here following his interview with Dean - that effectively opened the floodgates of criticism. Now he is vehemently defending Refs to the point of being a sycophant. Simon is trying to deflect here. For a man with seemingly bags of common sense, he displays very little here. Most refs are rubbish and that is a fact.
So, so even if you support them refs, you can't have an option? How does that work? How would anything change? In the last 3 years How many shocking decisions have we seen? He has a right to say how he feels. Another of people came to the same conclusion and they don't vilified
