I’m just exploring this software and having a blast. I’m very pleased to find this video and to learn about playlists, updating, locking, etc… lots of stuff I didn’t just intuit on my own as I played with the controls. Thank you! PS. I have the Standard License for now until I really master this basics.
Glad it was helpful ;)
Thanks for the excellent introduction.
I have an issue with latency. Since my visual output is being sent to a second screen from my laptop (which is routed to a video wall controller and then to 3 screens) I have a 0.5 second lag between a beat hitting and the visual on the screens reacting to it. How can I reduce the latency?
Good !
I have a mix of songs that's about an hour long, and I want to use Synesthesia to create visuals for it. How do I do this?
Can I use my own music and create my own prompts. f.e. "a poor 9 year old girl walking in the sunny park in a van Gogh style" on the beats of my own music?
Thanks for the tutorial, is it possible to route live audio into this (non streaming music)
looking for the same
I’d run live music from a mixer… take output from mixer and run into my pc… …. send that signal to Synesthesia… from there I run it to OBS and then back out to my TWITCH stream.
But you might just send it to whatever screen you want after it leaves either your pc or OBS…
@@ABearHolhutfantastic thank you, I will give this a try ❤
Is there a way to smoothly transition between scenes?
yes, you can run 2 parallel synesthesia instances, send 2 spout/syphon to td and then control them via midi or osc. We have a complete walkthrough of that in our patreon
Blackhole is not available for windows! is there any way for winddown's uses to use this tutorial?
Yes, virtual cable
That sounds like a Plastikman track.
