  • All boosted engines suffer from blow-by which is oil from the crankcase passing into the intake, reducing performance and the life of the engine. The boosted engine in the Bronco is no exception. In this video, we dive into the Mishimoto Oil Catch Can - a simple system that eliminates blow-by, is cost-effective, and is easy to install. And we'll also show you how to install it at the end of the video.

    Would installing this affect the Broncos manufacture warranty?

    • @Motoroso

      It shouldn't, it adds a layer of protection, not a performance mod. But, as usual sometimes you never know with these guys. Call your dealership service department and ask them.

    What is the advantage of the dual catch can over the single for the 2.7 ecoboost bronco is the extra can necessary?

    • @Motoroso
      @Motoroso  Před 2 lety +1

      Consider the single can 70% protection, and the dual can maximum protection against blowby.

    Why doesn’t this come with the car if it’s necessary?

    • @Motoroso
      @Motoroso  Před rokem +4

      It’s not “necessary”, but it’s better for longevity. Service departments are a massive profit center for the auto industry, so it’s not in their interest to provide maximum longevity.
