This is the reason I am plowing. This field is VERY uneven
from previous owner and also has some 'small' rocks.

Great video! Yes, theese kverneland ploughs are very old, but good, and reliable. We have estonian plough MA 3-35 and it has all kverneland active details, so it's easy to find replacement details

@@hrz4x4one more thing, that this plow has small mold boards, so the working width per furrow is 30cm, if I understand right, but there are bigger mold boards, which, i hope, can be mounted on this plow and then work width will incrase to 35 cm per furrow
@@agrokanals The working width can only be changed by a different beam set up to let each body take more land, as in a vari- width, or of course adding more furrows. A different board type may leave a wider furrow for the tyre but not increase the working width. You both probably know that, but it is a common misconception. Meanwhile continue to have fun farming. Narrow tyres will always make a neater job.
@@warrenblain2365 well, you're right, I was mistaken a little bit about theese mould boards, just because it's my second season plowing, so I excuse for that what I said. But yes, practise makes perfect

What a nice soaked field. In my country, end of summer and autumn is dry, we had no decent rain, plowing and sowing season already started, and it' s very hard to manipulate with fields. God knows what Barley and Wheat we will have next summer
What county is that? It's wet but not very and no frost.

If only I had an Belarus 82, but I'm very content with the T-40am though I'll have to get the clutch all checked and fix some oil leaks
My first plowing was last year, took a while for a small field as my old McCormick b250 kept wanting to overheat, BUt Engine rebuilt a few weeks ago and coolant flush like mad its pretty much a new engine :)
Same here. The first hard work showed the real flaws on the tractor(s). I lost my radiator with the very first hard work etc. But they are workhorses and they should be used on full gas and also on heavy conditions.

Aha, a "Kverneland"-plow, it will probably serve You well for many more years. They are quite good and robust plows. BTW, I had a really good laugh when I saw the attempt to tow. :D

Yes. That engine is very good. In full throttle the oil pressure is constantly 3 bar. Unfortunately gearbox needs repairs.

There are very few MTZ 4х4 in Bulgaria. In Bulgaria we have a tractor called "Bolgar TK 80" based on "MTZ 80". The difference is mainly in the cabs.
Very interesting. 4x4 versions are quite expensive then I guess. And you have hi and low gears in transfer box?
The price of the front drive axle with everything needed for the installation is about 1500 euro . Bulgarian "Bolgar TK 80" like transmition is the same like the "MTZ 80" in your video. I do not understand what you think about transfer box. Мaybe I can not properly translate it.
Transfer box is the section before gearbox. Some versions of mtz have hi/lo (rabbit / turtle) gears you can select from there and some countries don't have that selection. Maybe you understand now.

It's a big problem when you put on bigger and diferent wheels and then sometimes your front axles shaft is destroyed.

Thanks for posting another great video. That plough was a lucky find! I am intrigued, when you filmed around the cab and showed the hydraulic controls on the right. Is that standard or a modification? I run a 50 and a 52 on my smallholding, and as you know the gubbings are all under the seat controlled by linkage from the steering column.
Thanks. Yes, that's standard configuration for 80/82. The distributor is connected to the back wall of the hydraulic reservoir under the steering wheel and controls are on the right. You can see see configuration better in this video: czcams.com/video/Xzd5QZsJ4f4/video.html

I honestly did not think anything about this plow before I had plowed some hectares and started to figure what the brand and maker was. It was a surprise for me also :)
how i set may plau when you go in furrow/ chanel plau must be 90 degre upright, first furow can not mowe more dirt
then second and side plate at end must toch dirt first plau must hang litll bit

Great job you have done! What happened to the front axle?
I don't know yet. Just took the other tractor and finished the job. I can still drive it but I hear some clonk-clonk in the right side knee joint.. It's going to be another part of the restoration videos :)

These are the weakest places of the whole front axle.

Thanks. Well it's true that I watched a lot of plowing videos after first day on the field.. Then I leaned how to adjust the plow and how to plow - but it's all theoretical I need some practice now. The videos come as they are filmed. I usually don't want to make them too long so the viewers don't get bored. You think they should be longer?
Absolutly. especially when its sometime new on your channel. I really doubt any of your subber would be bored when you make them longer by this kind of cool new content 😉👍

Tänavu sai ise ka täpselt samasuguse adraga maa ära küntud. Kusjuures samuti esimest korda elus. Russi tagant vaadates peab vasakpoolse püsttõmmitsa pikkus olema 515mm. On väga suur viga sellel traktoril, mis rivist väljas nüüd.
Hea teada, et vähemalt ei ole ma üksi esimest korda adraga pusserdades... Kus see öeldud on, et tõmmitsa pikkus peab selline olema? Ma suutsin leida, et tõmmitsad peavad olema ühepikkused, rohkem mitte. Ma ei tea, mis seal esisillas juhtus, parema poole põlves tundub olevat. Ei ole veel lahti lammutanud. Lakkas vedamast ja tegi kolks-kolks. Õnneks liigub ja ei ole ratas plokis.

Nice plowing. How deep is it? 25 cm?
Depends the field was very bumpy and plowing height is also very varying. I did not want to make it too deep. Mostly around 15-17 cm I would guess.

You used valtra to tow that? I am trying to compare tractors as I struggled a bit with narrow tires not delivering enough power to the ground.

I don't know. They are both around 30-35 years old.
Count on that MTZ was built tractors with small cabins until middle /end of '80, so from end of '80 beggining of '90 MTZ has made changes in tractor appearance and start to build in the big square cabins.
