The very first trees to be planted were large pioneer leguminous (essentially Acacia Mangium) and large resilient productive trees (essentially Manga).
The new forest produce now the mulch necessary to regenerate Zone 1 soil (essentially kitchen garden) and feed the soil for starchy foods cultures.
