It is relatively soft. Not as tough as Marley twist but not soft as silky-texture hair.

Hey Sunshine💖. No, I did it just from the back of my head to the middle. The front part is crocheted almost back to back to give a more natural look and you use smaller pieces of hair in the front (6:43)
