I played your music to my daughter growing up and she loved it so much she was inspired to become a musician in her own right, Alima Dove music. She raps and sings also. I'm so glad you are revisiting and reclaiming your early work, its so pure and magical. Your voice literally sends me to a higher dimension, you deserve every amount of Abundance, love you Mav xx
i met this man on the underground with my daughter a few years ago..we had weirdly spent the night before listening to maverick sounds b2b.. so it was crazy coincidence ...he was so warm, friendly and down to earth with us...i even had the cheek to get him to sign sudan archive's new album.. and he was just cool... you have such a beautiful smile...thank you.

I can't believe it's been ten years.
I love the album. It's on in my car all the time.
I've never been able listen to Cold Game though. Too real and the tragedy is so raw. The first time I heard it, tears were streaming down my face. No, I can't play it.
Sadly another child was lost to a knife this week in my town. Just a 16 year old boy on his way home from school. Spread on the road in his own blood while the paramedics did chest compressions on him. My daughter's friend and her small children were on the bus, sitting, watching. People are so precious and so vulnerable.
Thanks for the music Mav. Time to buy a new CD for the car I think. Will be good to support the artist this time round.
