This is the most accurate portrayal of the cops in a sitcom ever, when you consider sitcom police only a few years earlier were still going "'Ello, 'ello, 'ello!"
@@teetywoo3156 Laughing when you're not supposed to! Have only seen Steve doing it when he opens the door to Michael covered in chocolate mousse, and they both crack up!!!
@@paulinemorgan2939 Steve Coogan corpses in quite a few things he's done. The other guys and hot fuzz are examples but you're right in saying i think the Chocolate Mousse scene is the only time he's corpsed as Alan
the acting is amazing he's got a look of genuine worry in his eyes

“Couple of eggs for breakfast tomorrow”.
“Aye certainly”.
“Yeah and I’d like you to lay them, you chicken”. 😂
Bill Car is outstanding in this scene
winduonline I live in King road in Ipswich. He's a good neighbour.
Alan's face at the opening of this scene kills me.
His face out the car window when the car is pulling of kills me more
im going to go home and just probably go straight to bed and just keep out of trouble HAHA
He's a ruddy genius!
Just so amazing
I met Bill Car at a charity do once, he was surprisingly down to earth, and very funny!
"I've got a clean license, yours is dirrrrrrrrrty"
Cone but not forgotten...
According to the commentary, Lynn is corpsing when she's trying to start the car...
Whats corpesing?
teety woo I think it’s not being able to say your lines when acting. Corpsing is often seen in blooper reels.

I'm glad you confirmed that because it always looked like Felicity Montagu was trying not to laugh.
1:35 only Steve could pull that off! Hilarious.
BILL.... BILL CARR... KING ROAD🤣🤣🤣🤣
My antidote to Coronavirus - watch Alan Partridge! Back of the Net!
If nicking traffic cones was a genuine crime, the entire country of New Zealand would be in jail.
Sadly, it is considered a crime in the UK. That's why we're all so miserable.
That one and only offer he’ll ever get at the end there. Ohhhh Alan 🤦🏻♂️
I don't think that was a genuine offer from Susan. She was just messing with his head. She doesn't like him. Other scenes bear that out.
Garry Baldy Of course she’s intelligent enough to throw out an offer like that knowing full well that it will fuck with his head.
I’m not so sure she hates him until the end. She flirts throughout the series but he never fully picks up on what she says and he never offers a date.
I always thought it ironic that the other character played by the actress in the previous series completely captures Alan’s heart.
He perceived it as mockery.
"Bash your arse"!
Brilliant acting. He’s so natural doing this partridge. He’s new stuff is so forced
typical old bill!
Brilliant portrayal of The Old Bill, knowing full well he’s lying but just don’t give a fuck! 🤣
He got scared and ran away.. he was in the army and uhh.. thought he saw people being blown up
What a coincidence I lived at 12 King Road Ipswich
When Partridge was GREAT...
Poor Lynne.
Check your conetract
Lynn was probably scared for life after her horrific ordeal
It’s just minor women’s whiplash.

Is she flirting
Why did Susan say that at the end? Was Alan supposed to be dreaming?
She might have been taking the piss although who knows.
I would have stepped back into the lift myself
That lift doesn't look real to me.
No, it's just a TV studio set with three walls and some sound effects. Amazing what they can do these days.
