In my opinion, the “special shop” in the valley is a rip off. In order to purchase from that shop, because they cap you on the amount of tokens you can earn you need to use your piggy bank tokens. But wait… to use the tokens in your piggy bank you have to pay a ransom of x amount of diamonds to access the tokens you earned on previously valleys. After the last 2 valleys for me to purchase in the “special shop” they wanted a ransom of 20 and 25 diamonds respectively to get my own tokens out! I won’t pay thieves.
Now I only play just enough to purchase the tools and supplies I need from the regular shop. They can keep their special shop items.
In Bulgaria we make martenitsa in many different ways. I have made simple ones many times starting kindergarten. It's fun! We give each other a bracelet or a necklace or clothing pin every 1st March. We give out dozens at a time. Most people don't tie them to trees anymore at random, we mostly keep them or tie them to a tree in our own yards.
As a sidenote, you were pronouncing martenitsa as marteniSTA the whole time and pretty much butchered the names of the khans but it's ok, most foreigners do that
